After realising that athy did not kill her,Jennette felt guilty so she decided to sign a contract in which athy gets another chance at life and receives Claude’s love in results Jennette will not able to get close to athy orClaude as she will do them harm.Jennette agreed to this contract what she didn’t realise was that she would be in a state of amnesia so the more close she gets to athy and Claude the more dangerous she is. In order for them to stay safe Jennette NEEDS TO STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM THEM
Also Jennette mana is not within her control so she makes people like her unconsciously.....in the novel Jennette is different then the one in the manhwa she is much more jealous and clingy were as in the manhwa she is much more likely.Hope this helps

I have nothing against her but hear me out.I have been reading the second season of who made a princess on Wattpad and I have learned a lot of things.To put it bluntly Jennette’s sole the existence is a big problem for athy and Claude.Because she is a child born out of black magic she has cursed athy and Claude.Rember when athy went out with Lucas and that random magician said you are cursed.Second reasons her mana is not within Jennette’s control.This is much for dangerous.Her mana unconsciously makes people like her.....does this remind you of anything?In the original story everyone liked Jennette,this could be the reason why.Also remember how Lucas would always flick athy’s forehead to take away some bad magic yeah that’s also coming from Jennette.Lucas once went to Mr white’s house because he was curious about Jennette and found that Jennette was rubbing that bad magic onto athy.I KNOW Jennette is not doing this on purpose but we can see how badly athy and Claude are suffering because of her.OK I will end it here.

I feel like its just a trendy opinion to hate on any female character that isn't the mc because she's seems like threat to mc happiness due to a recurring trope so often used where the other chick is just the jealous evil bitch or two faced friend in love with the same man (girlvsgirl) but jennete has no desire to steal claude away and quite frankly she can't even if she tried because claude is already so fond of athy. feels like a lot of the blame being directed at her are for things beyond her control. funnily enough she's hated on more then mr white and her father who planned the whole thing and jennettes very existence.
jennete and athy's relationship in the webtoon is one of the reasons I'm reading, I feel like the author is going to go down a different path with them unlike in the novel. they are building up this sisterly bond type thing. I live for that kind of fluff. that isn't just romantic.
Right now claude had no memory of Athy and his love for her. And Jennette could be used as a buffer to avoid the agony he’s feeling with her absence until Athy comes back to his side. Idk all of this is really a huge struggle for me because I feel like he will never remember her Sometimes I feel I want Athy to forget him too because she’s in a lot of pain :(
"Right now claude had no memory of Athy" on some subconscious level even with the curse effecting him he still has a strong attachment to athy that he feels but doesnt understand, this is shown in many ways i.e him dreaming of her to the point of insomnia, him drudging up old drawing she made as a kid looking at them. this isn't something that can be so easily fixed by picking up some random replacement, even if he does humor this to distract himself for a bit, he won't feel satisfied because its not the person he's been looking for. either way it's not jennete manipulating claude, mr white is. athy is just looking for her father (ironically, that she has already met)

I agree I was frankly surprised that the Jennette in the novel seems a little bit different personally I have no problem with her in the manhwa,I actually quite like her.She is fine with Claude not noticing her as long as he is in her life she is fine with that and genuinely cares about athy but I feel like in the novel......is not that she is different but the author really emphasis that she could be a problem or at the very least she could ruin Cluade and athy’s relationship knowingly unknowingly.

she is different personality wise because in the novel I've heard shes more petty and jealous of the attention athy receives while also being a threat to her because of her black magic. completely different then webtoon jennette who desperately seeks out some family bond through her and claude, and is so afraid of rejection she freezes up when offering gifts to people. I sort of feel like the reason she clings to these bonds so much is because she never really felt them in mr white's house. if it was just emphasis, thy could have thrown in more forshadowing or something, not change an entire characters personality or motives

Actually you have to take into account that at the second part after the amnesia they are already teenagers and she is mostly fretting about the ml.. and the author does portray her as a jealous person and quite unlikeable one at that
I honestly just feel bad for Jettie. It is all her father's fault! I want Athy and Lucas to save her from the curse on her. Although I don't want her close to Claude, I still want her to have a sisterly bond with Athy. (Oh well, she is a complete siscon already.)

I've only read the webtoon so far I haven't seen her act in the manner you speak of. I just treat them as different characters entirely as their personalities seem to differ. I have read spoilers that she was a lot more clingy when it came to izekiel in the novel.
