This is probably the tamest bdsm yaoi I've seen and probably the only one that also shows the least amount of it too haha. No hate, it's actually refreshing to see how healthy of a relationship they have and the seme was super respectful and always made sure the uke was consenting. We love to see it! ヾ(☆▽☆)

Normally I'm okay reading mangas with rape (not saying it's okay at all!! Just that it happens so much in yaoi you get desensitized to it after awhile) but this one was particularly hard to read...and then for it just to be okay between the two after it all happened? Like the side characters reacted correctly in saying he's a criminal and were concerned with the MC's well-being and safety. But for the mc to get violently scratched and bleeding all over the floor and still say it was consentual and provoked him was just sad to read and is what some rape victims truly believe and are often told by others. I don't know about this story...it had potential but unfortunately lost it all when I read that part. Oh! And then for it to basically almost happen a second time?! That's a no from me, chief....

You know, if Yahwi was at all like Alex from BJ ALex when he got his shit together and tried to make it up to his partner, then maybe I would like him. But no, he's still a dumbass and jooin better not fall back into his grasp. But I know he will and I am just waiting to get mad when it happens...

I think the thing I like the most about this webcomic is how much of a pain the in ass the uke is. I mean this is the best possible way because he gives these gangsters a run for their money and basically makes them regret kidnapping him for as much trouble as he is to them and I just love watching it happen!

After 103 chapters later, I think we all just need to enjoy the story for what it is. Instead of impatiently waiting for Paul to fall for the emperor and them getting together, we just need to enjoy the story. While people are getting upset that the emperor has three wives, I'm just enjoying the lovely relationship Paul has with the girls. It's refreshing not to see jealously and drama, instead you see our MC truly cherish the girls and vise versa. Her interactions with the other characters and the genuine joy she has for the emperor's success is also fun to read. This isn't a shoujo or even a josei manga, it reads closer to a seinen, while there is romance, the focal point is just Pauliana's life in a time period where women aren't given many rights and her finding and succeeding in breaking those bountries.
