I'm almost certain that it will go one of the obvious ways:
1. Shun gets caught with Takumi, Tamaki gets mad/disgusted/sad and starts ignoring him to the point of ending their friendship, but after some time he realizes that he loves Shun, some stuff happen and they get together in the end.
2. Tamaki realizes his feelings after seeing Shun with Takumi in some cafe, gets the wrong idea, is jealous, his chest hurts, he doesn't know why, realizes the reason, he confesses, and so on.
3. Any other cliche.
But what if it went a different route? Like Shun slowly getting burned out in his love due to Tamaki's lack of interest in taking their relationship to the next level;
or simply realizing that he has a great boyfriend material right next to him - Takumi who has been occassionally giving him advice and became his friend?
Personally, I'd rather Shun ended up in a relationship with Takumi and gave up his feelings towards Tamaki (maybe even cut ties with him?) because it would be fun to see a story in which the main character doesn't end up with his unrequited love, but finds a new one instead (I'm not saying it never happened but still).
But I like how the story goes, the narration is original and fresh compared to many half-assed 1-volume stories that have a sex scene or a love confession in the first chapter (sometimes I like those too, but it's nice to read something different).
However, I really doubt that it will go any other way than Shun+Tamaki so I'm looking forward to how it ends nonetheless, because I appreciate the story and its slow pace a lot.
I don't know, just felt the need to talk about it; maybe some of you have similar thoughts on it, so feel free to share them. :)
I'd rather Tamaki ti sort his stuff by himself first instead of pushing him to fall in love with Shun and be saved by it.
Maybe then they could start again and make it right, but I really doubt it'll happen.
Also, I think that giving Shun a different love interest and move on would be nice too ;;

I also think it'd be cool if he ended up with someone else at this point just bc of the flow of the narration, it could fit. But, Takumi in my eyes seems a bit fishy, like idk how serious he could be in a relationship, as side of me is like meh. Also, he looks plenty like takami and the names are so alike that I would feel like RLLY if he settles for the look-alike bc it might not be a healthy relationship if he's just a substitute for Takami. Takumi also doesn't deserve to be sloppy seconds (bc he could be a replacement). It's one thing it they have a fling if it dorsnt work out with takami, but personally, shunxtakumi is whatever and I feel like both of them could have better pther halves in the future than each other. Alas, I also think it'll go one of the obvious ways, shun x takami and I don't mind them together either, I think they do suit each other personality-wise, but takami is also one of those kids that's afraid of doing anything "wrong" according to whatever influenced them when young which is sad, so I at least wanna see him get over this issue no matter which way things go.
Also: Asexual more specifically means not being sexually ATTRACTED to people. Even if someone may not find anyone appealing that they would feel sexual desire for them, if they let's say like getting off with another person/the act of sex itself, they could still have sex to an extent. Someone could have a high sex drive but be fine with masturbation and not be interested in sex. You can see how there are many sides to one label. I myself am greysexual/demisexual. Even if I might have interest in sex and am capable of being sexually attracted to someone, I don't find interest in doing it with someone I don't have great interest in and feel at ease with. Finding someone like that isn't common for me.
Yeah, you've got a point. Especially with Takumi being the replacement, but with the character development that is kinda good in this manga we could expect Shun slowly transition his feelings to Takumi and liking him for who he is, the "real him" and not as a Tamaki-look-alike. (I have a hard time explaining what's on my mind :x)
But I also agree that we don't know much about him, and he could be a shady person od someone who doesn't want a serious relationship.
Oh, and I thought I should mention that I don't dislike the idea of Shun and Tamaki getting together (because I'm pretty sure it will happen), but it would be interesting to see them remain friends instead of witnessing Tamaki being 'forced' to liking Shun romantically.
What I mean by that is what I often see in BL mangas, where I feel like one of the characters is somewhat 'obligated' to like the person that likes him no matter what, just because they are the main characters.
(We as the readers expect him to finally start liking him because we're here for the romance; we root for them to the point of thinking "stop being stubborn and admit you like him already").
But sometimes even if someone tells you they love you every day, your feelings won't change and a part of me wants to see it happen in this manga :)
Yh there are some I've read that are like that and it just left a sour taste in my mouth.
All of y'all that complain about the people complaining about the lack of yaoi in the story should finally get a life.
Just what will change after you tell your part and whine in the comments hoping for validation via upvotes? Exactly nothing, so stop trying to change the world and simply ignore the comment section after reading if you can't handle others having opinions different than you;
because it's pretty childish to get offended that someone didn't enjoy the story the way you did. Oh look, it's that easy.
