I didn't realise how much time had passed whilst reading this, truly amazing. I also love to have music playing in the background which enhances the experience for me. Ah I can't wait for more updates (≧∀≦)

His childhood is built on misunderstandings because of the lack of communication and reassurance from his family.

The memories that the mc has of his family are misinterpreted. In a situation where mc is always sick and alone with rumours spreading, there is no doubt that what his family members say to him will be misinterpreted. Due to having a weak constitution, the mc is always kept indoors or is bedridden. Many will know the reason as to why the mc is never present for events or outings however, there will be people who will doubt and question this, thus leading to the discussions and rumours between the maids and many other people. Rumours are inevitable and will spark for many reasons but they can be addressed. Measures should have been taken to prevent these rumours in their household whereas the rumours from the public are often uncontrollable or will always raise doubt, this is where his parents step in.

Yes, they were unaware of how this would affect the mc and didn't notice the signs that it was already affecting him negatively, however his negative thoughts wouldn't have grown this large had his parents reassured their love for him and explained their actions and words thoroughly. Small conversations with him every now and then would have eased his doubts as well as asking questions when either the parents, brother or mc are unsure of things.

Now the 8 year war as most have seen it was indeed fabricated by the duke. From the first to last memories he had of his family, everything was a misunderstanding.


(This is a VERY short summary of the ending)

After Cruel's (his brother) sacrifice, Dion realised the truth and his split personalities fused into one. He sought out the ones behind his demise which were the king, duke and demon king and killed them (The duke and demon king are killed because they were the reason behind the 8 year war (it was a bet) the king also died because he watched everything unfold whilst continuing to use mc). Dion continued to live on for a few years in order to respect Cruel's wishes and then kills himself as everything has been accomplished. In the after life Dion wishes to bear Cruel's karma (bad deeds) where he will suffer miserably in the afterlife as well as when he reincarnates into his upcoming life. However there is a price for wanting to bear the massive amount of karma which is to give up his eyes. In Dion's upcoming lives he will be blind and suffer through them. Dion happily gives them up because he wants Cruel to rest in peace and live a happy upcoming life. Ed, Dion's assistant buried Dion next to Cruel's grave.


I do believe that after a certain amount of time, Dion will accumulate a decent amount of good karma and be reincarnated into a life where he has his eyes and can be happy. It might also be a life where he is once again brothers with Cruel ╥﹏╥

Omg I thought Rachel was the fl because of the 'child' that was formed from both the mc and her? What's going to happen to the child? Also If the fl is the captain I wouldn't mind that (although maybe the age gap might be an issue but i doubt any romance between them will bloom whilst he is still in school....hopefully not...)

Honestly tho I wasn't sure who he was going to be endgame with because of how most of the female characters were being shown in that particular love interest light. The captain was the least expected fl lol (she felt like someone who would become his teacher/older sis).

Warning: chapter one contains rape

To begin the story with rape is always a no no (This doesn't include works that are just smut for plot or really dark narratives.) That scene is completely futile to the flow of the plot and isn't addressed or further questioned because the seme is beautiful?

I know that the author wants to convey the extreme loneliness of both characters by having the seme who has been alone for many years and craves for the warmth of another become obsessed with the first human they lay their eyes on. Therefore, seme decides to rape the mc (who wishes to leave) to force the uke to stay with him forever.

The uke who was forced obviously doesn't want to be raped but succumbs to the painfully lonely emotions that is expressed by the seme (through his words, actions, facial expressions and also punctuation(pausing and tone.)) and a hint of pleasure. One star.

Scene aside, I genuinely like the Illustration and layout. Pacing could be slower during certain parts as I would have preferred a more detailed and emotional scene (includes close ups of certain objects like the shrine which shows the state that it is in as well as the time that has passed for the shrine to fall to that state. This also applies to the statues where mc expresses sympathy and understanding of its loneliness. Overall I would rate this three stars.

The appearance of the member and a follow up of an erotic scene and sight certainly caught me off guard ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄ Also the sheer amount of fluff and wholesomeness in the air...truly the best of both worlds.♪ (^ω^ )

I would like you to help me find a story I do not remember very well but it's about the uke and the Seme attending a party, well the thing is that the two spend a night together, but when they wake up they both promise to forget what happened, it's there when uke begins to realize that he had fallen in love with the seme, always remembering that night they spent, but seme doesn't think the same since he likes a girl and that girl turns out to be uke's best friend and she is in love with another boy, that's why she also rejects the Seme, the thing is that as time passes, the uke continues to insist that Seme be his partner, but he continues to make it clear that he still likes the girl and that he does not like men. Well... Seme goes to the house of the uke and he is going to claim that because of him the girl hates him since at a party the Seme pushed the uke making him fall into a pool of alcohol and the uke comes out of his home running and the seme tells him to die which uke has an accident where it causes him to lose his memory and emotions and he only remembers his friend from the past and I only remember until there if someone knows the name, please tell me. thank you Ah- I also remember that the seme falls in love with uke because the girl goes on a trip and he begins to feel alone and realizes that who he was in love with is the uke and not the girl ... ..

Okay first of all, if the title is literally named "Escape, Ray" then it must have something to do with the story.... which involves the person called Ray.

If you hate Ray because everywhere Kyle goes, it involves Ray or its always Ray this, Ray that...
well, wtf did you expect?
The main character AT THAT SETTING was/is Ray.

Kyle will get his screen time and development. After all, this whole backstory is part of the fucking plot.

AND DO NOT TARGET AND HATE ON THE AUTHOR or say you'll skip the chapters that they may have worked so hard on. If you are going to do so, the author may as well drop this because they don't fucking deserve the hate and shitty attitude that ya'll give.
