Ren in the story died the exact same way Sid did, and Reira is heavily based on Olivia Funkin who knows about their real-life experiences but they look similar, and are both white/Japanese but who knows if there are more similarities. so far nothing is known abt Hachi, Takumi, Nobu, Shin, Yasu, and everyone else all these characters go through real-life things that's why this manga is so realistic the things they went through and their lives can happen and someone out there can probably deeply relate with these characters. But yes it isn't made about two real-life bands.
