Reading back again and... oh man although the story does well in not dwelling on siwons past life too much or his character it’s still such an appalling and bitter story. Being bullied and assaulted while have no access to support or anything. It’s just so horrible to know that character went thru all those struggles and driven to suicide. Despite satisfaction achieved at the ending and “enemies” getting the taste of their own medicine in siwons body, it breaks by heart his soul was left in pain. Even though it’s fictional, I really hope and pray he’s at a better place and hes in peace and he’s loved even if it’s by no one from himself is enough. Tbh this wish n prayer is for everyone else as well. Whatever ur doing, do well cos you are precious.

This is one of the most beautiful and precious stories I’ve read everything was so romantic and nostalgic yet bittersweet. Certain times it felt sad and longing but comforting as well Idk how to explain. I cried especially at the moon confession part when gramps started crying. Too precious T.T and please refrain from the cute grandpa hate he means no harm!! There wasn’t anything serious going on between him and Misaki from the start, it was all just simple playfulness. They both knew that. Misaki even reassured to Haruhito that he wasn’t the one grandpa was in love with. When grandpa looked at misaki all those heart eyes was for misaki’s grandad. That familiar face reflected grandpa’s bright memories of his first love and he just wanted to reminisce that. More so, he was the trigger for haruhito to confess. I also liked the transitions of the young version of grandpa it was such a touching metaphor for his intense youthful feelings coming back to life after so long. He was so in love. Still is now. On top of that I adored misaki’s and haurhito innocent flirtatious rivalry compared to the grandads subtle n unspoken love calls, really emphasised the difference in eras while being in love hehe .There’s so much to this heart warming story. To put it simply 10/10! (づ￣ ³￣)づ
I’m aware that airi is having a hard time and he can’t control he’s feelings for his brother but I just find it unfair and frustrating that he still willingly got into a relationship with someone who loves him a lot and is devoted to him knowing he still has lingering feelings left for his bro...idk I just find it selfish to him trying to juggle his romantic interests for two people while itsuki is out here giving his 100% and he’s giving back like 50%(?) lol like why bother don’t waste itsuki’s time and effort... idek there’s just no regard for itsuki’s feelings at all in this whole situation. Like at least sort out this brother fiasco before committing to relationship. He should’ve told him why he wasn’t ready or something. They’ve dated at for 2 years at least no? Ugh it’s just frustrating and painful because Airi really isn’t a bad guy or anything he’s been going through it rough and he’s TRYING but just why oh why make a person so earnest and loyal suffer like this ┗( T﹏T )┛I’m probs being biased. well he probably wanted to stop feeling what he was feeling, that’s why he gave it a shot with itsuki. seeing as he initially turned itsuki down, i think he genuinely thought that he could move on with someone who makes him happy. we also shouldn’t forget that this is more like a coming of age story. it’s not really about airi’s relationship with either of the characters, but more of his development in being able to learn how to control his emotions, and differentiate attachment from real love.
Ahhh right I see I guess I’m too focused on itsuki :s thank you for your input btw really helped seeing it from a different perspective! As I said before I’m probs being biased so my viewpoint is clouded hearing new thoughts like this is refreshing and opens my eyes to different understandings, really appreciate it haha
