well, as far as I read (up to ch 150), there is no romance thing involves. This MC is just so fixed, determined on his purpose. TO RULE THEM ALL. ╮(￣▽￣)╭ you'll find it full of war and intrigue, blood and treason in a nation scale, and so forth. the cruelness you find in these several chapters of manga is just nothing compared to what you will see in the future.(≧∀≦)
