hard to swallow that the message in this is 'it's your job to look better for other people's sake' rather than 'i'm so sorry i judged you / everyone bullied you based on appearances alone' but ok i guess. it's disappointingly realistic in that regard.
for anyone reading this--it's okay to not be attracted to someone. it's not okay to treat them like shit because of that.
