Wow, this is the first time I’ve felt bad for Joowon. I’m so glad to see his character growth though, so nice. This sort of feels like he’s taking himself out of the story though, and I want the ending to stay unpredictable to the very end.

thats so mean, man...sure, it isn't eye candy, and some things might sound a bit weird, but what if you were the one taking your time and energy into making this, with a smile on your face, thinking, "I'm so glad i could help out! I hope they'll enjoy this! :D" and you read a comment saying, "Um...I would rather wait for the other team to translate this again........" like dude that would hurt?? Especially the whole "...um.." sort of thing, that's mean, dude.
Imagine the team that has been translating. For all we know, they could have already had half of the chapter done, but someone has cut them off and now their work is for nothing. Maybe you get the gist of what's going on, but I'd rather know exactly what's going on. I didn't even complain about the quality of work in the original post, just shared that I'd like to wait on the original team.
I don't want the team that has been translating to get the idea that their work isn't needed or appreciated anymore.
You think this is called translating? When they just put the google translate camera over the raw page...even the typesetting is a mess..it's not that different than reading raws, since there are lots of conversations not conveyed...everyone can do this yanno for their personal viewing, it's just that some of us still have enough sense to wait for the REAL translations who is done by a group willing to share their work here, and bought their own raws
The prev group didn't drop this, it's not even a month since they last update ffs...and before that they update regularly, they even went to great length in recruiting ppl who understand korean, also listen to readers about the type font better for viewing, then immediately changed it...
They could have in the process of piling chapters right now for multiple or consecutive updates like they DID before...or worse, they could have been having real life problems right now..
If u follow them on discord where they interact with readers, you'll know they still work on this...

Yes...that's a fact cuz that happened lots of time before...resulting in scanlator groups felt demotivated then dropped the project for real because they don't feel the need to work on project where the readers are very demanding and self-entitled, always demanding fast update without knowing how much work had been put to give translations with better quality...
I think that lots of new readers in scanlated works still do not understand, that usually when a scanlator decided to work on unlicensed series, it's because they like the series and want more people to read and comprehend and enjoy the series like how they were originally..not just about seeing the pictures and only get gist of it while the rest is not making any sense...hence why they always make sure they understand the language first and not rely on machine translator...even with real translations, there are bound to be some meaning and nuances lost...let alone google translate
I hope when the previous group release their version, they will replace this update with theirs
i know that, i know all of this could happen. but the way the op phrased it in a way that made it sound like they were throwing shade on the work done by the current uploader, like im not blind trust me ik it looks bad, but i think the way op phrased it made it sound like they shouldnt ever try putting their energy into stuff like this again - people can improve, yknow. i just thought the way they said it was kind of mean.
yes yes ik, but the way you phrased it didnt imply, "i wonder where the original team went," it rather was phrased in a way that was kind of demeaning towards the uploader. i get what youre saying though (it'd be really frustrating to know that someone uploaded something you were working on quicker but in a completely worse fashion than you), but the way you said it made it look like you were lowkey throwing shade at the current uploader, not trying to insult you or anything. it just looked like it with the whole ... and stuff
