I think at this point, wouldn’t it be too obvious if Diina is truly the Goddess’ ‘puppet’? Somehow, this doesn’t feel right to me. With how the story picked up on drama, i think it would be too obvious if we start to think that Diina might be the Goddess’ puppet. Its like putting another ‘villain’ on the spotlight while the true instigator hides away if that makes sense.

Then there is also the fact that a ‘hero’ arrived from the world Lufa, or the one occupying Lufasu’s body, came from. It could be possible to level him up miraculously and actually made him the Goddess Puppet easily especially since the ‘hero’ is driven to bring ‘justice’. The fact that he was analyzing the fight between the demon king and Lufasu is unnerving me. Yes, he was afraid but there was a panel in which he was looking at the fight as tho he was analyzing their strengths in general.

I could understand the inevitable fight between the demon king and Lufasu but what is the Hero’s purpose? For all we know, he was summoned not to defeat the demon king but to defeat Lufasu more than anything because for all we know Lufasu would be the one to defeat the demon king. Lufasu was summoned to defeat the demon king and then the hero was summoned to defeat Lufasu. Its like killing two birds in one stone scenario for the Goddess.

Then again i could be wrong lol. It could be as obvious as Diina being the Goddess puppet or there could be another character coming up to fill that position. Either way, i am eagerly waiting for the next chapter

Let's not forget that this author wrote Sword Art Online before this. So in my book he's not exactly known for intricate plots and misdirection like that.

That being said, it's still obvious that Diina is at least someone from the "real world" as well. Too much knowledge about the real world to not be. After rereading the manga, I have a theory though. This Diina became the goddess of the fantasy world. In the real world she was a novelist for the game. Being able to fully write the story, pretty much makes you the god of that story. How this fantasy world was created with her as it's "writer" I can't really speculate on. She was so infatuated with Lufasu's story that once she became the goddess of the fantasy world, she wanted to continue Lufasu's story all according to her ideas. In other words, the goddess scenario. However Lufasu was too strong in the novel, so she summoned Lufasu's player into her body as a "lid" that she could manipulate into playing out her scenario instead.

I also want to note something I noticed while reading this time. When Diina is found out to be a player, after her fight with Lufasu, Lufasu feels like something about Diina's explanation is still wrong. And I think I might know what it is. Diina says that players not written into the novel started disappearing. But if that's the case, why aren't the 7 heroes all players as well? They were all very likely written into the novel after all, being the top 7 players from the game and playing an integral part in Lufasu's story.
