As for those wondering why the prince still doesn't understand what's the deal even though she keeps thinking about it: in case you missed it, it's said he can only read thoughts while making eye contact with the person.
And I guess maybe the biggest reason why I didn't cringe at her behaviour is because I read Itazura na Kiss which was a nightmare in terms of second-hand embarrassment

I just hope in the future chapters we can see the king (and the queen if she's still alive) being affectionate with their other children as well. This way, it wouldn't feel like they only love the princess just because she's the long awaited one. (And the other kids deserve the love too, I guess)
