For me personal the slightest bit of romance in a manga/webtoon ect... that's tagged action, adventure or shounen makes me curse at myself for wasting my time

    Cakeyrne July 20, 2019 5:08 am

    For me it’s annoying characters

    Bat-4750 July 20, 2019 5:10 am

For me it would be mabey the art style change are names are changed or even a stupid plot twist but so far I’ve only dropped one manga ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍

    owogre July 20, 2019 5:53 am

When the plot is way too slow. Like I get the whole slow burn stuff, it allows more parts of the story to be explained and explored, but sometimes the progression is too dragged out.

When there are obnoxious cliche tropes

    M.T July 20, 2019 6:51 am

    -harem
    -boobzillas
    -Unnecessarily clumsy idiots
-When the story is getting really good but for some reason went a completely different direction and now focuses on the harem as the primary plot
    - Adventure mangas that has that one person that is completely useless and you literally question if she'll get better which she won't.
    - when the story loses the focus point

I don't always drop anything since I try to get through the whole thing even if I don't exactly like it just to see how the ending turns out but I'd drop whatever I'm reading/watching if I don't quite understand the character or even the story's purpose/motive anymore. That and if the characters don't seem to be getting much character development and are going around in circles which doesn't progress the story further.

Now, I don't mean to be judgmental, because this is My opinion and I don't have anything against anyone liking what I don't, but it's a big turn off for me with manhua/manhwas when you find out it's incest. Like idk, stepbrothers who aren't related by blood I know they aren't related, but it still feels weird since they are somehow related still.

Also, I don't like ukes who are foolish and get manipulated easily by seme. A REALLY good example of this is the manhua Down and Dirty. I recently started getting into it and I'm really trying hard to like it, but I feel bad how the mc uke is being manipulated by the seme pimp, giving him exactly what he wants. Sometimes characters are so frustrating with their actions you can't help but imagine yourself in their shoes doing it differently and smarter. And yet, Im still sticking around for the story since I'm eager to know how the mc is going lol I never learn ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

Another thing that makes me drop it is when one of the characters is not gay. For some reason, I'm only attracted to guys in yaoi who establish themselves as gay. I don't mind if they're bi, but I hate it when one of the characters clearly likes girls and is manipulated/forced to be with the seme. That's a total turn off for me....BUT, sometimes depending on how the story goes, I find it ok. For example, there's this manhua I'm reading called Wish Me Love where I was a bit put off to find that the uke mc is clearly straight and is being sort of forced to have sex. But you know what? I don't put it down since there is a nice progression with the uke slowly developing feelings for seme. AND...MOST IMPORTANTLY, the seme is unusually kind and gentle towards him all things considered. Even though he's given the chance to have sex with uke, he takes great care to go slowly and not even penetrate him for his first time, making sure to prepare his "special place" and even then, he still does not do the deed since he doesn't want it to hurt and try to make it enjoyable. He even stops when uke doesn't like it. He is MILES better at being patient than with other semes in other manhuas who go at it with rape or to suit their own desires.

Oh yeah, and one last thing: I drop manhuas where there is nothing but miscommunication throughout the entire story.
One last thing before I close my rant:
If I see a tragedy tag on manhua, then I avoid it like the plague. I don;t want to suffer when I realize the characters I've grown to love, are fated to die a horrible or traguc death.
    Thanks!(づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ

This isn't so much the content itself, but if the translation is crap. I appreciate the effort gone into it, but someone tryna google translate doesnt work most of the time if they are completely foreign to the original language (especially languages as different to english as korean and Japanese). If the english is barely legible or the translation makes little sense then I'll read for a chapter or two but will drop it if it continues

Not really. I just avoid them to be on the safe side. Even though they might not mean the death of the MCs, I still don't like the idea that it could mean the death of a character that I might end up liking.

Man I fucking hate the brother the dad and the mother. like damn let the poor dude have his body back. Ugh I have so much to say to rant but I'm tired . Anyways what r ur thought on it . So far for me one of my favorite anime of 2019 and if it ends with only 24 episode I need another season

    Nobody June 23, 2019 8:17 am

I agree, I mean, ok a lot of people *might* die because he wants his body back and it can be seen as selfish of him to want his body at the expense of many other lives, but he still deserves to get it back. He wasn't the one tha agreed to that deal, he deserves to get what rightfully belongs to him back. Besides, honestly, it has not been proven that the demons taking his body parts is really the reason his father's lands prospered for so long. Maybe everything, good and bad has been a coincidence.

I fell in love with the personality of the mc but later on the time skip runin everything for me and I end up hating the mc new personatitly along with his bitchy step sister the most overall the time skip was the final draw for me to hate the webtoon. Aslo there was a part where the fucking mc took forever to save everyone that got on my nerves. After the time skip I hated everyone in the webtoon and the only one i liked turns out to be a clone of the mc or a copy and I think he end up dying I don't remember so yeah I wasted my time reading that shit.
