Heavy on the personality part and the age. I feel like they would be the couple that have witty banter and deep midnight conversations about the most nonsense things. They have a similar introspective and pragmatic personality. And Idk I feel like they would get each other's humor and music taste.

Isn't kikuchi another guy that actually has a boyfriend?. Out of all the guys i think there's only been like 3 guys MC has been able to escape from but giving vibes that they like him?.
First is the guy (you mention but i don't think his name is kukichi?) MC helped when the guy was having a hard time with the printer? (The guy was narrating how awful his day was being, gf dumped him, got yelled at work, and was having troubles in classes when MC helped him) which made him fall for him. When he tried to hold a conversation with MC during class, and asked MC for his note, MC in order to break the red flag, MC throws him to Miyo (miyo-something, sorry forgot his full name, guy with glasses whose cosplaying as a mummy in the lastest newest chapter of Halloween party), that didn't go anywhere though, since that guy was seeing someone else and thats how that chapter ended.

The second guy is during the fundashi guy chapters, when the fundashi author was collecting "obversing" events he can use as materials, there was actually a guy who wanted to confessed to MC but MC turned him down by saying he has already seen that movie that was in the bulletin poster, and that he was "going" to see that movie again with his friends. Thats where that ended with that guy. (I think the fundashi guy will be leaning towards the guy who keeps rejecting other's guys confessions?. Because we see MC sitting on a bench when that guy rejects a confession from a guy and starts on leaving and fundashi guys kept on tailing him for research purposes xD)

The third guy is the mind-reader guy, he's been only on two chapters. First one was when he was narrating about his superpowers of reading people's feelings or minds?. And apparently his power doesn't work/can't read other people's mind when MC is in proximity because MC's chatters thrumps over other's chats. Which he says he'd like to meet this person who chats alot in his mind to 'shut him up'. The second time he appears is during the newest chapter of the Halloween party event, he's dressed as the ghost/has ghost blanket. MC strikes a small and briefly conversation with him when MC was getting a drink and help the mind-reader guy get a drink, and walked away fast because MC didn't wanted to trigger a red flag. (Which by the looks of it he has, since mind-reader guy wanted to catch up to him, meaning he may like MC?)

And lastly but not least, is Hanato, MC's younger brother's (Ayato's) highschool friend. Although MC didn't flat out rejected him(due to his younger brother's interference and playing dumb didn't worked either) Hanato has had more screen-time in the manga than any other character MC has interacted with so far. These are during the love confession, during Ayato's school life events where they're talking about MC, Hanato has appearances when ayato takes them to their house (from time to time), during the accidental meeting in a restaurant (in that chapter Hanato once again tells MC he won't confess to MC within 3 years, but that he will not give up and pursue MC to like him, hence he says he'd like to get to know MC better and hopes MC may start liking him) here we also see MC trying to dodge the flags by giving answers to Hanato to places and things he cannot yet do or go to since he's still a minor (but eventually will be able to do xD) but doesn't work because MC pays for Hanato's meal which makes Hanato find MC to be a cool adult and can't wait for him to grow up. And subtly hinted he may start working at the cat-cafe MC frequently visits.
Also there's other parts where Hanato appears talking to Ayato's boyfriend Toujuo, which happens when they talk about MC.

So with all of this, i can assume that the manga will be hinting more of MC x Hanato. I always seeing that some anime adaptations and live-action adaptations are completely different from mangas/novels. So the manga may end up with MC possibly dating Hanato in the near future?.
If the author focuses more on Hanato screen-time with MC then maybe there's a plan possibility in time-skipping with Hanato becoming an adult (if MC's younger brother ayato is in second of highschool then yeah it is a probability there might be a time-skip to make them older) but thats only if author focuses more in bringing more screen-time with Hanato. Which i really don't mind xD either way i love this manga.

Thanks for the detailed explanation! I personally prefer mind reader as I think he is better suited for MC's personality but I can't wait to see how the author decides to go, in any case I love this manga as well (▰˘◡˘▰)

I thought the LA gave that printer-guy the name kikuchi since they're implying that MC got together with Kikuchi and quite frankly wouldn't make sense for MC to not know the name of his love interest (according to the LA plot). My guess is the LA was filmed before mangaka boy, psychic-kun and Hanato were introduced, so printer guy was the closest thing to a viable ML character, so they just gave him a bit more character depth(??) and screentime.

And yes, I totally agree with your prediction on this manga going down the MC x Hanato route, coz he's the one person MC hasn't managed to shake off or evade. From what i can see, mangaka boy is now relegated to narrator no.2, and psychic-kun is too overwhelmed by MC's thoughts to be able to catch him (and will continue to do so throughout the rest of the series), so his route will probably only be used for comedic effect. Hanato is too straightforward and stubborn for the MC to crush his route using his usual strategies, and Hanato has the added advantage of being Ayato's friend/classmate.

But I'm excited to see how it all plays out!
