The rest of the book doesn’t get any better jace and Noah get kidnapped and jace gets raped by one of the kidnappers. After the duke finds him he literally jacks him off when he’s not in his real mind and the chapters don’t even focus on Jaces feelings they’re showing how hard the duke is working to find Jace and it’s just really disheartening because the duke was the first to traumatize him.
