First Dan gets his feelings crushed, partially because he should have known better and partially because he is just lonely, and now he's about to sacrificed because JK sorry *ss is going to likely leave him to the wolves. He's a selfish, inconsiderate prick, and I just want him to get his arm broken or stabbed just a little, as least. Guh... Dan...poor, poor Dan.
Am I just supposed to draw the conclusion that his mom called Mo to run the restaurant when she goes on the trip and they end up working together again, then he quits being CEO, they get together, they expand the restaurant, the mom retires, and they build a successful relationship and business together to live happily ever after?? If so, how wonderful. If only we could actually get that AND SEE IT!! Like did the author just decide to say, "Well this is enough already" and end the dang story?! I'm so frustrated.
Yep...I am officially dropping this mess. Absolutely buttery BS. You did all that work to separate yourself from both parties. You see the person who hurt your years later, then say you are still hurt, but you get back with him anyways in the same exact moment? I dare anyone to name one legitimate happy moment in this entire story that he ever had with Yahwi that would justify this asinine decision. Man, I miss the old days of logical, happy stories. This only made me realize this author is just not for me after this and A Guy Like You, which is fine because there is content galore our there. For y'all Yahwi lovers, congrats, and for my fellow Cain lovers or anyone who wanted an ending that literally was anything but him ending up with Yahwi, hopefully we are reading better stories to cleanse our palates.
