The story is a mess. The translation is arguable. Even in a better translation it's still a poorly written story, which is a shame because the art is really nice. The characters are inconsistent and I'm wondering because of that what's the point of the trauma?
Read the prologue, thought this was gonna be good. But it was: meh
I'm having an issue with the pace of the story. Basically whole of season 1 seemed pointless now. Things should have started with season 2 and proceed. The whole Sihoo turns out to be the ghost of a friend who's actually not dead was very badly executed and doesn't fit into the direction the story is going.
I'm not gonna start season 2 for another year till there's more chapters. I've read s1 in one sitting.
Where I would criticize is that though it says in the description that Heesu is at "center of attention" he didn't live up to the popularity he apparently should have. He was also overshadowed by the other characters, especially Chanyoung.
On the other hand, Chanyoung came to me as a surprise. This made the BL original. Normally it would be expected that characters like Chanyoung remain ignorant and become forgotten as the story progresses. But he was the opposite. He actively helped Heesu get over those feelings for him and move on.
Woojung is the character I feel most strongly about. Best one in the whole story for me. He actually had a character!
Seohee was a bitch, Jinwoo was an ass, and Sarang felt flat. I wished Eungi would get betrayed by his new partner and treated like the piece of shit that he is. But I'm ok with how Sarang broke up with him. Life moves on!
What ever happened to paying the medical bills for his sick mother!?
On another note, the character design. Sung is one of the hottest protagonists I've recently seen.
I checked and loved many of the designs. Should have also mentioned that compared to the main, the other designs of Solo are meh
