Me personally I’m sick to death of love triangles and probably wouldn’t have bothered with this series if it was one, but I’d say no it’s not one. Sooin is in love with the vampire, but his abusive POS ex Sungha still wants him. Sooin, thankfully, no longer has feelings for him so it’s really not a love triangle

I really can't bring myself to hate Seungho even though he clearly needs serious help, but that's where I'm glad that we can see some character development going on. For the first time Seungho is able to see beyond himself and his anger (thank you Mr. Kim for daring to speak up). I was also surprised to see Nakyum expressing his feelings and his sister warning him about how it might be Stockholm (and it was definitely the right thing for her to do). Though, she doesn't know about Seungho's part traumas and why he is so fcked up and I do think that Seungho could change given time and circumstance. Nakyum also needs to remove himself from Seungho at least for some time and regain some clarity because boy has been through way too much.
I actually want to see an endgame Seungho x Nakyum, but after Seungho gets thoroughly knocked off his high horse and maybe goes through several years of therapy and reform. And Nakyum needs to know that what Seungho did to him was super super wrong, and that he should be living for himself, not for Seungho or bitchass Inhun. Only then do I think they could possibly be together.
Overall, I'm happy with how the past few chapters have been going, and especially with Chapter 68 for having Mr. Kim confront Seungho on how his actions have become just like his father's who he despises, and for having Nakyum's sister confront Nakyum on how he needs to start thinking about himself without his thoughts being clouded by Seungho or Inhun.
Who tf would apologize... and then act like a complete asshole immediately afterwards expecting that they'll be forgiven like... wtf MC is already pretty nice just agreeing to be friends with someone that insane
This reminds me of POTN (along with many other toxic webtoon BLs) but at least Seungho got those anger issues from his traumatic past and the story being set in the past makes it feel more believable...

As I've read the novel, there is no romance. But a lot of people were shipping on cale and alberu, ahem...including me. Even though there is no romance, the story is still great.
I actually ship a lot of BL so I'll probably get behind Cale and Alberu too (they look nice in th fanart lol), but I have some personal reasons for not liking most straight romance so that's why I always ask beforehand haha
