I swear if I could rate this a 10/5 I would. It explores issues and topics you don’t see much in other otome game reincarnation stories. No hate to those other ones, they’re good in their own right, but this one just hits different.

One of things that sets it apart is Sasha’s and Rebecca’s relationship. In any other story I feel like it would’ve been played up for laughs but I was pleasantly surprised that the author didn’t. Their relationship was fully explored, you saw how much these women cared for each other. You saw how Rebecca was constantly trying to better herself to stay with Sasha, and how Sasha would in turn be Rebecca’s shoulder to lean on when things got too tough for her. You saw both Rebecca and Sasha support one another, but most of all you saw the progression of Rebecca’s feelings for Sasha turn from kinship to sapphic. And her feelings weren’t just tossed aside as “oh look a clingy female friend who’s way too overprotective of her friends, lol.” No, you got a whole chapters of hints at her true feelings. She wasn’t hostile towards Arth(green haired dude) at all, but as she realized how she felt she was a bit discourteous. The scene at the lake solidified how she felt about Sasha, and it even had Arth be the one who acknowledged it, and what got to me was that he wasn’t even mean about it or belittled her feelings. He just straight up said that she was ahead of her time and sadly for one of them to gain Sasha’s love, one had to give up that possibility and the clear winner there was Arth because he was born a man. Honestly that chapter, paired with the ones that show Sasha and Rebecca’s first meeting fucking destroyed me man. It was just so beautifully executed, and I was both saddened and ecstatic that for once, it wasn’t just a small lesbian romance played up for laughs, but true romance that had emotions.

Another thing that makes this so damn good would be the original heroine. I’m pretty sure everyone thought she was gonna be that typical reincarnated bitch character that was gonna stand in the Mc’s way as an over exaggerated nuisance. The author kinda led you on that string too, making the reader think she was either a bitch or that and crazy, with her even pulling the second prince in her schemes but she ended up being so much more than that. It was an amazing twist to have her mother be the actual reincarnator and having the heroine be danced around like a puppet by her own mother. She was mentally and physically abused by a woman who was desperate to follow the script. Constantly, expectation after expectation weighed down upon her. Her father was a fool in love so he didn’t do anything, and the maids were and still are under her mother’s jurisdiction. She was trapped until she was sent to the main city by her mother to fulfill her destiny of becoming the heroine of the story. Get the prince’s love and save the kingdom and what not, but she didn’t want to follow any script. The line “red is the color of revolution,” still haunts me, becuase it just so perfectly fit that scene and her story in general. She didn’t want to be the heroine, she wanted be her own woman. And do she did. I loved how they’re portrayed her character and her relationship with the second prince, it’s all very sweet. Her and Sasha finally clearing up misunderstandings was good too, I love how the author didn’t string it along for centuries.

Sasha is great MC. She gave up on following the script after officially becoming friends with Rebecca and her tendency to constantly try to help her friends is presented is a more realistic way. She has no great isekai powers and she can’t swing a sword for shit, but she’s there for them when they need her and tried her damned hardest to keep the group together and use her knowledge of the original book to help out where she can.

The male characters are great too. Arth is intelligent and kind, and not a scummy possessive asshat like some MLs. The dragon boy is an interesting character and I’m curious to see how his story is gonna progress. And Johannas is a piece of dog shit id see on the side walk, but as a villain he’s amazing at reaching new lows.

TLDR; Man I just fucking love this manwha.(๑•ㅂ•)و✧

Ya’ll who is this anonymous guy spouting all this bullshit and fake spoilers. I’m assuming it’s the same person who was wishing rape and all this other fucked up shit upon Rashta. Can the dude calm down, cause Jesus Christ it’s a headache and disturbing to come into the comment section and see all this disgusting shit. Rashta might be trash, but my god she’s not fucking satan. She’s just a chick tryna to survive in a very cutthroat society. Hate her all you want, but spreading false information and writing multiple disturbing posts on what you want to have happen to her is obsessive. Dear fucking god.

I would never wish rape to anyone no matter how annoying they are (k maybe only to rapists because they’ve done the same traumatic thing to other people)
