I don't get why some of yall don't understand the reason. there has NEVER been a good "villain" in their world. villains constantly murder people on the spot for fun. of course a hero is gonna try to kill a villain if they have a chance. they can't just "talk it out" with a villain whose mind is literally fucked up due to the powers. even the MC struggled a bit to stay in control.
