I can understand where Momo is coming from. She’s only had her brother all her life, and the mother is probably almost always absent. It’s just the two of them.
So her being overly jealous and protective of Umehiko, as immature and annoying as it seems, just makes more sense, because now her only family is being ‘taken away’ by Theo.
Hopefully Umehiko makes his boundaries clear and talk to her about it. She’s already 15, she can handle a conversation.

Also, I dropped this months ago bc of how it started, but there’s actually interesting plot going on after reading it again ironically.

I almost dropped it, but I wanted to give it a chance for some reason. I always drop titles that have rape, so me not dropping this was weird, but I'm glad its developed and Theo has really taken steps to make up for what he did.

I have no problem with age gaps. I eat that shit up. The problem comes when a guy in his mid 20’s fall in love with a 16 year old kid. That’s normalizing some ped******. Story wise is still alright tho. read this bc of the main story

Consider that he's guilty because of I will give that a pass. And the author give them much time more time to be mature, i will ignore it. I cant say that I've never have feeling for people that older than me.. and want them to pin me down but.... I think you understand me.... The story is noice. I read this every time I get bore.... So let just leave it at that.

    ciago May 27, 2024 6:33 pm

gaslight yourself into thinking that they’re only a year apart in age and that the author totally didn’t make a guy in his 20s have sex with a minor.

tomyacha March 2, 2024 5:26 pm

They are so fucking cute I cannot. I love the way they support each other and them being the reason why they continue what they do.Also I am loving the artstyle! The way it’s shaded is similar to older manga styles and it really gives the characters more charm

Tbh I’d probably hold off a wedding if you’ve only been together for a year, but then again, I’m glad that the volume still continues! “Marriage isn’t the finish line” indeed! Usually, most manga ends when the characters get together and tie the knot. Here we get to see more of their married life! Looking forward to the domestic vibes and not just work

    Carmel February 29, 2024 8:49 am

Honestly idk why people wait so long to get married, how are you gonna do everything a married couple does But not marry? Only exception is if one young in my opinion

All the main characters were great! I read this bc of the bl tag but I didn’t mind it being so subtle since the plot is actually really good at dealing with the supernatural genre.

Love Mikado and him being all scared, because who wouldn’t after seeing all those shit. He lived a life thinking he wouldn’t be able to tell anyone about his abilities and being anxious since childhood, and now having people by his side who’s ‘like him’ and being more confident with himself as time goes is so nice to see. Like being queer in a place where you’re outcasted, you feel the comfort of having people who understands your struggles. So I feel for him more on this one.

Hated Hiyakawa at first because he wasn’t respecting Mikado’s boundaries and is manipulating of him in the early chapters. But as we follow through his character, we realize that he really doesn’t know what boundary even means. He’s never thought how to feel or express himself, being treated like a god of some cult as a kid. Doesn’t excuse what he did but we understand why he is who he is. He’s learning to open up more at the last chapters with Mikado.

I also like the focus on Erika struggling to comprehend when ppl like Saeko and her classmate asked “Are you okay?” showing that she’s never experienced being really cared for. Made me glad that she’s now surrounded by people who can support her. And thank god his relationship with Sakaki is like an older brother. I’ve read enough mangas who makes these types of characteristics romantic so I’m relieved it didn’t go that route.

Keito didn’t have too much story but everytime he’s there, is so pleasant because he’s more of a counselor. Not being an actual fortune teller but still able to guide his clients. That’s what he does most. He helped Mikado know that what Hiyakawa’s doing was forceful. Him telling Erika that it wasn’t normal for her not to have a proper adult to protect her. And talking to the kid Hiyakawa for what seemed like an eternity and being patient. Makes you wonder what he went through as a child.

It tackled a lot on what it means to be fear to hate and what it takes to be a good/bad person. What it means to believe. Since it’s not all black n white

I didn’t know it had more chapters I only read it until 13 before. The art style got much better and the proportions of the characters improved. I didn’t take all the murder thing seriously since I feel like the manga made it in a way that seems over the top. Ref’s design is literally just Jeff incarnate.

But I liked how as the chapters went, we get to see the plot get to the characters. I like how they didn’t go with the typical character “redemption” and all is forgotten at the end. Deeta will never have a “normal” life. And no matter how much he tries to improve his life, his past will always haunt him for the rest of him life. It doesn’t mean he can’t be happy tho. He has Taichi after all. The ending is bittersweet and we love it that way.

Also Im actually really interested with Ref after knowing that he’s rich. Bro revealed that his parents are some high authority and never expanded on that?? Like, it made so much more sense how they got away with all the crimes bc of his family connections.
If this ever had a side story, I’d love to see the world building on his side. Exploring more on how they disguise kidnapping with some made up tv show lol (ch.16 p14) or them covering up murder bc a cop is involved w the family. This can be hilarious or just plain dark, either way it’s an interesting thought bc we see how much power in control this family of cannibals have

Why haven’t I discovered this sooner? Absolutely hilarious. Got me kicking my feet too. I love how silly the plot it started but ended up becoming something memorable for them. I loved both couples. There’s no unnecessary drama. I love actually seeing how their relationship develop without overshadowing the main couple. Just some high school kids learning love.

Also holy fucking shit Ida’s dream GENUINELY scared the shit out of me. I was like “Is this for real?? There’s only 2 chapters left before the finale you can’t be serious??” I was ready to wreck shit about the “ending” of them not meeting after 9 years. The plot is too good to let it end abruptly with poor writing, please let it be a dream. And thank god it was a dream.

the way my heart just dropped they had no right to scare us like that lol

    tomyacha February 12, 2024 6:49 pm

Fr man i guess that was the point of it bc i was so ready to throw hands lmao

I do think I remember liking Tj and Ian being complex characters, they’ve been through so much together to the point that it’s toxic and unhealthy. They gone too far and they can’t turn back. But they NEED each other so so much. Beyond lust or love. And I liked their sexual tension together. Joseph is too far from their lifestyle, and maybe Ian could be have a better life with Jo. But our boi Jo is just gonna get hurt, you someone deserve better pls

    Hiroshi January 25, 2024 4:47 pm

It would be surprising if they ended up together and I am hoping that is not the case

tomyacha January 21, 2024 4:32 pm

The pacing is fast on this one. It would’ve been a great story had it fleshed the characters and settings more. But since it was rushed, the stakes didn’t feel high and it wasn’t as satisfying when the two had a moment together. So much potential

tomyacha January 17, 2024 8:56 pm

Their chemistry is so good. And i like that Kaoru is a beast in fighting while still being open and honest with what he wants. And I like those troupes in delinquents. Gap moes are always so fun. Pair that with another unhinged character and you got yourself good chaos. And seeing the side character’s responses are hilarious.

If there was another volume, I’d love to see more of their backstories or just them being a lovey dovey couple while fighting. And if there was an actual threat to the plot where Kaoru actually gets hurt or in danger, I’d want to see Shun’s intense reaction.
