Hi everyone, I plan to make a manhwa and I have a question to those who are already making one, do you draw the backround, like the buildings, sceneries and furnitures, something like those?????????
I never made a manwha before but what I know is you could draw backgrounds, but some authors use irl pics or free backgrounds! (This also includes props sometimes..) sry if this isn't the answer ur looking for and I wish you luck in ur project, I'd love to give it a read!!! (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
From what I see that's very time consuming so typically me/other artist use 3d model for backgrounds but if you can draw over them in your style/coloring it could make everything more cohesive with a bit more effort so everything isn't too disjointed. I do the combo. 3d model+ stenciling the drawing
Where do you get the 3d models that you use???
And what are the materials you are using??
I use a range from modeling my own on sketchup(best on desktop) to an iPad app called 3DModelingApp. I use the latter more currently. It's simple but it gets the job done for what I need. But I'm sure there are more just gotta Google em
How will I transfer the 3d model into a panel?
Typically I orient it the way I want the model to be in the panel and screenshot it or download a jpeg of it and crop
