it's really fucked up... but seeing two severely broken people who can only show their love by hurting each other is some psychology mind fuck that i can't put into words. they have a relationship beyond toxicity. they both grew up in that home together and at a young age already had that kind of relationship in its earlier stages that grew into something monstrous. they both want to hurt each other any desperate way they can but through that they still come together even doing that.
i honestly enjoyed this series, as fucked up as it was. the characters of toma and miyako are so deeply layered that i don't think i will ever truly understand them. sensei created an incredible story with them. this is so dark that many may not like but i enjoyed it regardless. i love reading about broken people and how they became that way, getting into heads and trying to understand what 'code' they live by, or rather they don't see anything except death for themselves eventually.
