To be fair, they hurt each other. I mean, Jake wins all the awards for biggest jerk but Sean also broke his heart. All of this is because of a total miscommunication. And yeah, rape is not an excuse. Its just, Jake loves yandere-style and he really loves him in the past and present.
When I was reading the first few chapters... i thought it was a cute and light story and then as it has progressed to the latest chapter... I never would have thought that the story would be heavy.
