Oh my goodness, I just read Ch 40 and although I know that Sangwoo grew up to be such a sadistic psychopath, his childhood makes him so pitiful (although it doesn't excuse his future actions). Seeing him cry for his mother breaks my heart.
I know there are so many theories about his mother sexually abusing him but I'm no longer sure about that. I still do have an uncomfortable feeling about the mother, especially from that last page. Her actions are motherly but for some reason, there are some sexual undertones? Or am I imagining it? Her resemblance to Bum is uncanny though. She looks like Bum when he's being sensual. And her eyes are so creepy to me, oh my god.
My biggest question is WHAT IS HER SECRET?! Did she kill her husband? Does she feel an attraction towards her son? Or is she having an affair? Did she betray him?
I'm starting to think that Sangwoo didn't kill his father. Whether or not he killed his mother is still up in the air.
Anyway, I'm loving this season and I cannot wait for next week's chapter!!!
