I get so tired reading comments on yaoi manga or webtoon these days, especially on this website, because there’s always people arguing this and that for honestly stupid reasons. All I wanted was a place to share how I enjoyed a story but everything is just full of hate in the comments and I don’t get it.

We’re all here to read a fictional story so what’s the point of getting so worked up and hating other folks for liking or not liking what has been written? Seriously, it’s all fiction and authors write stuff on purpose to portray characters a certain way so there’s literally no point in arguing over eachother saying this is toxic y’all disgusting or no he’s not I love him. Liking a toxic character doesn’t mean one is toxic and disgusting. Defending a toxic character’s behavior doesn’t mean that person is stupid. People have things called emotions and opinions that are all equally valid ESPECIALLY because this is a fictional story. Nothing is ever purely black and white, there’s always benefits and negatives to every relationship and every person views things differently. What is toxic to one person isn’t toxic to another and that’s just a fact people need to accept. There’s a reason why we don’t meddle in other people’s relationships in real life but because this is a fictional story (or relationship) everyone has access to, shit suddenly goes down to hell with people forcing their views on others.

Really, just accept that it’s a story and enjoy what you enjoy and leave others alone to see it as whatever they want. I buy all the chapters and read webtoons on Lezhin so I came here for a place to share my love for a few stories that I enjoyed there but it only dampened my reading experience so I probably won’t read comments here anymore...

I’m waiting to see where this story goes. I feel like everything so far is just the calm before the storm when shit actually hits the fan. Cain’s past life with Jooin isn’t revealed yet and I also want to see more of Yahwi and his family situation. We already had a whole season and a half of Yahwi and now I think it’s time we see Cain developing as a character. Knowing this author, they’ll probably pull a f-bomb somewhere with the plot and intertwine the past with the present somehow and I’m a sucker for stuff like that xD

I need to see Cain’s side of things before I decide how to feel about the story so far because right now, everyone is just so meh and typical. Yahwi has huge ego issues, sucks shit at communicating and then we have Cain with unknown intentions who I feel uncomfortable with because I don’t know what he’s up to and that makes me insecure and scared af. The only character I’m loving so far is Jooin. He looks like a pushover but boy can this guy actually speak his mind when shit comes down to it. He knows when he’s being treated poorly and isn’t taking shit from anyone. You go man.

Lol everyone in the comments saying he’s possessive and going crazy by saying he’s going to “lock” Suha up and take away his freedom need to calm down. This is literally the end of season 2 - aka a cliffhanger. We don’t know what he actually means to do yet and we haven’t seen Suha’s response yet so I don’t think it’s right to jump the gun and think he’s going to take away Suha’s freedom because nowhere does it say that yet. He’s only insinuating he wants Suha to stay away from the president and the redhead for a temporary period of time (which I wholeheartedly think is best considering wtf the red head did to them). The one who can fix this issue is unfortunately not Suha. He doesn’t have the power to do so. The seme on the other hand has the power to fight. It’ll be a hard fight considering his position in the family, but his reputation and achievements don’t lie. It’ll be okay one day, I hope so.

Knowing how the author has written this work so far, we’ve seen so many instants when the artwork makes it look like Jiwoon goes crazy with the darkened eyes, but in the end, he’s never done anything to hurt Suha on purpose despite the hints. And then we just had that scene where he apologized to Suha. I highly doubt Jiwoon is going to pull a Killing Stalking. He obviously genuinely cares about Suha too much and if Suha protested, they would reason it out like adults. He would never do something Suha really hates - we’ve seen enough of him to know this. Unless the author pulls a complete “fuck you” on everything they’ve developed so far, I don’t think we’re in a bad shape. Let’s wait patiently for season 3 before we jump to hasty conclusions. We all wish for the same thing - their happiness because they really deserve it.

P.S. - And of course, that red head can die in hell for all I care ^^

Damn this whole story is a fuckfest of feels. As much as I want to hate every character for being “dumb” and doing questionable things, I can’t do it because I understand where each and every single one of them are coming from.

The uke can’t move on easily because he literally spent 25 years with his ex, with 8 of those involving love. You can’t erase all the time you’ve spent together that easily. Including the fact he was in a coma, the situation was completely out of his control, so I can understand how his frustration can only be directed towards his ex for choosing to leave him because to him, those 5 years of sleep passed by in the blink of an eye, whereas everyone else had to live in a world without him for 5 whole years. To him, it feels like he woke up the next day and suddenly his lover disappeared, but to the others, it’s been a long ass amount of time. His situation is so pitiful and tragic and I can’t help but feel for his struggle to comprehend how everything seemed to fall apart all of a sudden with no warning when literally the “day” before, he was perfectly in love with someone who loved him dearly.

Of course the ex would have to move on. He can’t get stuck with someone who is “dead” forever. He has to move on and find happiness again. He had no way of knowing that the uke was in a coma (seriously, how the fuck does this even happen in reality? Do hospitals not contact the family of the patients?!). I can only imagine how torn he must feel to see his ex come back to life. How scary and lost must you feel to see your presumed dead lover suddenly reappear in your life in the moment when you finally just found a new happiness after mourning and despair for 5 years? The guilt and shame, but also there’s nothing he can do. Someone lifted him up from the dark position he was in when the uke disappeared. He fell in love with the new guy and now his lover comes back? What can he even do? He can’t change the fact that he fell for someone new. He also can’t change the fact that he loved the uke dearly for 25 years. It’s not about choosing the past over the present or future. Loving someone else doesn’t make the love you once had for someone else smaller and that’s the main internal struggle here. He loves his new boyfriend but he also loved the uke. Nevertheless, he already moved on and he can’t simply go back on it now because that would make it seem like he used the new boyfriend to get over his ex only and he did genuinely love the both of them at different times. Nothing can change that fact and he isn’t a scumbag for feeling that way.

Then we have the new boyfriend who I can only pity. You throw yourself all in to this one person you love, watch them struggle over a past love, genuinely care for them and heal them. Then suddenly, when you finally found happiness with them, the old lover comes back from the dead? Fucking hell, that’s like a truck slamming you in the face. The seme doesn’t owe him love, but damn it’s got to be scary as hell to imagine that the seme might ditch him for the old lover. Seeing your lover struggle over someone for years and then that person randomly wanders back into their life after 5 years and wants to get back together? Bullshit. If the uke truly loved the seme, he should’ve stayed with him - is probably what the new guy would think and he isn’t technically wrong. It doesn’t make him right for being mean to the uke, but his feelings are very much valid and rightfully so in a situation like this. No one wants to feel used.

In the end, everyone made mistakes and they all tumbled down into this shitty hell on earth. Sorry, this comment ended up being long af but I needed to write my feelings into words because damn this shit hurts everywhere. I really can’t hate any of these characters for behaving or thinking the way they do. It’s so tragic T_T

I’m mad that Param had sex with Mr Han because he was obviously emotionally manipulated. I’m team Hwi all the way. With that said, I don’t understand why everyone literally hates Param so much now they’re willing to call him shitty names and such. I’m sorry but Param is NOT in a relationship with anyone. He has the right to sleep with whoever the fuck he wants and it isn’t immoral in anyway. He’s not committed in a relationship yet and he does not have a lover.

Those who say it’s still wrong for Param to sleep with Mr Han probably have no idea how relationships work. You date someone when you officially talk to them and become lovers. If Param was dating Hwi, then what Param did would be called cheating. If you get angry that someone you love and care for had sex with another man, that’s normal - of course you’ll be angry. But know this: the person you like DOES NOT OWE YOU anything. You are not officially a couple. You have no right to tell them not to have sex with others just because you love them. And absolutely, you have no right to call them a slut for doing so. Param is NOT a slut. Period. He has intentions to find the person he truly loves. He isn’t fooling around with anyone’s feelings. In fact, Han has been the one playing around with his feelings and if you’re going to call someone a slut, Han’s the more likely candidate (but srsly don’t do it).

Originally, he liked Mr Han. Hwi came much later. Now that he had sex with Mr Han, he now knows he genuinely likes Hwi. Done deal. The Han phase is over now, thank fuck. Now I’m going to pretend this scene never happened and hope he reconciled with Hwi soon.

Ema got be choking when he glared at Nino to make him pick him on the team LOL MA BOI CALM DOWN XD Chika is a lucky girl having many sniper mentors on her team to teach her. I think she’ll grow a lot from being on Ninomiya and Azuma’s team.

Hiiragi needs to convey his feelings properly and Shizu needs to calm down and listen. This is all just another misunderstanding. You can’t tell what is in someone’s head so you can only guess from their outer appearance.

I think Hiiragi was in fact jealous of Mafuyu and Yuki’s relationship. He was lonely, not because he liked Yuki, but because he didn’t have such a relationship so close, connected, and intimate with someone he respected and loved being around. Hiiragi definitely looked up to Yuki, but that’s hardly a romantic feeling. Shizu was there for him when he felt left out of Mafuyu and Yuki’s ring, and that is exactly why Hiiragi fell in love with Shizu - because he was always there for him.

I don’t think Hiiragi should think he was taking advantage of Shizu’s kindness. He deserves to have someone he loves that loves him back. If you’re lonely, you want to be around others - that’s not toxic, that’s normal. Shizu, on the other hand, is someone who has always looked at Hiiragi, who in turn is looking at Yuki & Mafuyu. From his perspective, he can only assume that Hiiragi feels something special towards Yuki , which isn’t wrong. He does feel deep respect and adoration for Yuki and Mafuyu’s relationship but it isn’t love. Shizu doesn’t know that, however. There’s no way for him to know that.

All Shizu knows is Hiiragi is lonely because of Yuki and Mafuyu. He’s always been staying by Hiiragi’s side watching over him without knowing Hiiragi stayed with him, not because Shizu was simply there as a substitute, but because Shizu willingly CHOSE to be there with Hiiragi, which is why Hiiragi fell for him — for once, he was the “chosen” one. I don’t think Hiiragi was taking Shizu for granted. Even if you’re lonely, you don’t just stick with some random person forever if you don’t genuinely enjoy their company.

I hope they really talk things out. I love this ship so much and they have potential to be the best one yet.

Probably the only author ever to perform a redemption arc well without glorifying or brushing over any toxic abusive behavior. The author clearly called out Kan’s unforgivable actions for what it was and kept them that way without ever trying to justify his actions because it could never be justified. But even so, they managed to give Yumi and Kan a most fitting end. They loved each other and fit together like puzzle pieces but the timing was just not right - it was never meant to be.

I’m glad there was no huge overblown apology scene with tears and hugs because that shit is just not realistic. No one does that in real life. An apology never makes the pain disappear. It only forces you to relive it and gives you a temporary relief or satisfaction, but in the end, you must find a closure on your own. Not having an apology scene made it clear no one was trying to justify anyone’s actions. They all know abuse is abuse and simply tried their best to move on from their mistakes without forgetting the past that happened. I’m truly glad both Kan and Yumi found their own happy ending away from each other. Their lives intersected once and it was beautiful and tragic, but it should never intersect again.

I’m actually digging Mary’s story way more than Yumeko’s. I don’t know why but Yumeko is more like a monster with supernatural gambling senses so it’s kind of hard to sympathize with her. But Mary is so human and “normal” it makes me want to cheer her on. Also, Mary fking kicks ass hell YEAH.

Yahwi is a piece of shit right now but Cain is giving mad sus vibes right now too. I don’t trust a smiley innocent face with secret agendas because it could all easily be an act. Idk what happened in their so called past-lives but until that is revealed I ain’t budging an inch for any of these two people. We don’t know any of their backstories and it’d be bad to judge them prematurely when we don’t know the full story of what happened.

I have a feeling Yahwi may be a part of the past-life Cain knows. Maybe they were enemies or perhaps, who knows, maybe it was the other way around where Yahwi in the past was with Jooin and Cain wants that in this life.
