I literally pay for the author’s story on Lezhin so I understand her frustration but she ain’t listening to what people have to say. No one is bashing her for taking action to protect her story and rights. Not a single person thinks it’s wrong for her to feel mad. Everyone understands it’s illegal to read translated webtoon for free. What people are trying to say is her anger is misdirected towards the wrong people. The ones she needs to be suing is the owners of the websites that provide illegal manhwa, not a random anonymous person on Instagram who translated 2 chapters. And the person on Instagram already explained she has no method to contact the owners of the website and talked VERY nicely about the process of how this website works but the author didn’t give a shit and didn’t listen to her/him at all. Yes, this person was wrong to upload the manga and she should apologize for that. But you’re suing and threatening this person for defamation even though they already explained they have nothing to do with this website and didn’t lie at all about what they could and couldn’t do??? You’re going after the small herds when you should be taking action against the bigger folks and that’s what is pissing people off - threatening someone who played little to no action compared to everything so far for something they can’t possibly help her in. They don’t have connections to mangago so why the heck is she threatening them for being connected when they aren’t?

You know, this is just my brain running on plot bunnies but wouldn’t it be an interesting plot twist if Ah-in’s best friend who got sent to the hospital earlier actually knew about Ah-in’s abusive relationship with that green head dog and was the one who secretly asked the blonde head killer to kidnap and ruin the bastard’s life? Lol just a random thought.

that would be a cool theory

But he also gives Ah-in the hard time, you know :)

    petalove July 12, 2021 4:42 am

What that would be so interesting! I’d love to see how it would develop the story

But he also gives Ah-in the hard time, you know :) yuki*

Continuing with the plot bunnies..... what if the best friend didnt know the killer would be attracted the uke? He just assumed the killer would take it as another fun job and now we got a double twisted plot twist of the killer being obsessed with his clients friend

I come back to read this once in a while because I love how subtle their chemistry is and I’m never disappointed at the light-hearted fluffy warm feelings it gives me. No matter what anyone else says, I find their chemistry very interesting and the bantering is a hundred percent my kind of thing. Maybe it’s because my parents are kind of similar to these two so their relationship dynamic is completely normal to me lol. I’m more of an “action speaks much louder than words” anyway and although the seme is cold sometimes, it is very obvious that he cares deeply for the uke. He knows when exactly it’s important to communicate and I think he needs someone brutally honest and straightforward like the uke to brighten him up. The uke knows he can be too forthcoming and aggressive at times and he’s apologized for that, but in the end, they both accepted each other for who they were and I think that’s most important.

Personally, I don’t find anything toxic about this relationship. As long as the two people understand each other’s needs and are able to accept them without feeling forced or uncomfortable, then it’s perfectly fine no matter how outsiders see it. There’s no such thing as a relationship that always goes the way you want it to anyway. That’s how it works in the real world anyway. What’s toxic to one person is not necessarily toxic to another. Like how sometimes we think our friends got a really shitty partner because you don’t like this or that about them and think it’s wrong or toxic but then they decide to stay together and actually made it work despite what you told them. Sometimes you were right and sometimes you weren’t lol you just got to accept some people will forever see things differently than you do (because they have their own life and experiences) and it isn’t wrong or dumb to feel different than others. Still one of my fav BL of all time! ^^

Main couple is cute af but seriously, what the heck happened with the side couple? I already knew Seungho was probably going to end up being the side couple but I did not expect Doyoon to be end game. It was so obvious from the start the two fucked up their relationship so bad it ended up causing Seungho to literally attempt murder 2 times because Doyoon wasn’t able to accept who Seungho (and really, himself) was. Their relationship was so toxic on many levels. Sure, they started off definitely in love with each other, but because of all the family drama/pressure, they weren’t able to freely love each other properly and ended up turning their love into an obsessive need where they feel like only they can understand each other’s pain and anxiety. By the end of season 2, I wanted them to realize that it wasn’t love they felt for each other, but a call for someone to accept them for who they are. And this finally started to happen when the manager tried to help Seungho with his trauma. I was hoping for Seungho to say goodbye to Doyoon at the streets because it was the best for them to part and start loving themselves. Really, that would’ve made the most sense but no the author actually said “fuck all” to basically all the character development thus far and went back to square one. I don’t mind if they dated again like 2-3 years later but that was wayyyy too fast for all the toxic shit to disappear. The manager would’ve been better for Seungho on many levels.

I think those who hate Raphael for not liking Cayena back then and only liking her now are forgetting something really important. This isn’t about liking someone only after they have changed for you. This isn’t about liking someone only after they stop clinging onto you. Cayena back then traumatized Raphael everyday by touching him without knowing he had a serious issue with skinship.

And most importantly, this story is about reincarnation. Have you forgotten that this Cayena is basically NOT even the same person as the Cayena back then? We are talking about two completely different people who simply share the same face. If you stick the same beautiful face on ten different people, are you going to fall in love with all of them? Of course not because falling in love for outer appearance reasons never ends well and we all know that. It’s all about the person inside. The Cayena he knew from the past and the Cayena now are LITERALLY two different people who just happen to share the same face. That’s all there is. You don’t fall in love with faces only. That’s a totally different woman standing there in front of him.

Incase some people don’t know, this story got recently licensed on English lezhin. I think there’s only 6 chapters officially translated there as of now. So if you want to support the author don’t forget to check it out there as well.

I’m sorry but if this story actually gets punished for plagiarizing, I will seriously flip my shit. No matter how similar these two manhwa may appear, it is absolutely not plagiarism. If something of this level is called plagiarism, no one would ever be allowed to publish a psychological thriller where we have Stockholm syndrome, kidnapping, toxic relationships, and sexual abuse because it’ll always be linked to KS, which is total BS. In fact, I can name a few manhwa which also have similar themes but never got called out for their plots, for example, The Warehouse.

Just because Killing Stalking was released first doesn’t mean all of a sudden they hold all the rights to such a story. It is undeniable that people will draw comparisons between the two which is fine, but if someone officially states this is a plagiarized story, I don’t even know what to say. The main reason why people have the impression this is KS is because of the art, which if you read the author’s previous work “Behind the Desk” you will see it was originally her art style but drawn darker on purpose to fit the theme. Other than that, you can’t call it copying. Sangwoo obsessed over his mother and was mentally unstable whereas the seme here respects his “teacher” or the uke’s sister and is trying to commit revenge for her sake. He is mentally sane and not a psycho who enjoys killing and tormenting people like Sangwoo. Bum had a twisted love towards Sangwoo whereas the uke here absolutely gives no fucks about the seme, only praises him as a god or savior, simply wants the sex because he’s bored, and wants to escape his life as a prostitute. The seme just happened to be there and is taking revenge for the uke’s sister and he locked the uke up with that blonde ass, which already is a completely different story because he isn’t even kidnapped alone. The most I can say is this story was probably inspired by KS, but knowing the author’s other work, they aren’t new to the toxic psycho boyfriend trope. It really isn’t plagiarism to me.

You know, I see this stuff a lot in manga and drama but I’m always confused as to the logic the parents use in this situation. I mean, you left your kid alone and pretty much disappeared from their life then suddenly you come back when your kid is married with a family and say that baby is mine or I deserve to see the baby. Like what??? How is that baby yours? Your child gave birth to that baby so that baby belongs to your child, not you. What nonsense are you speaking to say “oh no that baby is also mine and I deserve to see it” when you were never a part of your child’s life? What are you even going to do with that baby, claim it’s yours and take your child and baby out of the family? How dare you.
