Technically, Osamu is the MC. However, on other websites, it’s listed that World Trigger has four protagonists: Osamu, Kuga, Chika, Jin.

Actually, Osamu is the most relatable MC I’ve ever seen. I can’t ever hate him because he’s literally what I would be if I was thrust into the World Trigger universe.
He’s not particularly strong, but of course he isn’t. Everyone else has years and years of experience compared to him who had never fought anyone before. Unfortunately, not everyone instinctively picks up what they learn and can use it immediately: those are the ones we call geniuses in our world. Osamu is definitely not a genius and he lacks the time to gain experience. Getting this far just by relying on his brain is actually a tremendous feat not many can accomplish. You can even call it a frickin miracle.
Anyways, Osamu will DEFINITELY grow to be one of the most well rounded border members in the future. I can just see it coming. After he experienced the neighbor expedition or more invasions, he’s going to develop some insights that’ll make him able to fight on par with some of the other B or A rankers ^^
Osamu is not really weak. His trion is just smaller than the average just like you don’t have magic in the magic world. Plus, Osamu has his brain to use!!! (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

Don't you notice? In the anime, Replica, Osamu and the others are just narrating the whole series WITHOUT KUGA YUUMA, and that would only means..
At that time, YUUMA KUGA IS PROBABLY DEAD, AFTERALL YUUMA IS IN A SIMULATED DEATH USING HIS BLACK TRIGGER THAT HIS FATHER ESPECIALLY MADE ONLY JUST FOR HIM.

I have no idea why the rating for this manga is so low. Kuroda compared to a bunch of other semes in other manga doesn’t even come close to being an actual asshole (you know what I mean if you’ve read a lot of Yaoi before lolol).
And the story is very nice and simple. It’s just fluffy and very realistic. It’s hard for you to be able to be with your loved one 24/7 no matter how much you wish for it. And it’s up to them to reassure each other, which Kuroda will probably now do beyond this manga. Took them a while, but every couple takes a while to understand eachother’s needs.
Idk I’d still give it 4.5/5 lol it was pleasant and fun to read

I don’t care what anyone else says, but I saw true love in Woo and Yoon. I hated it so much that he ended up with Taeyul.
I finished this entire thing in one go, sat contemplating for a while, and cannot like the ending no matter what. I already knew Taeyul and Woo would end up together just because that’s how Yaoi manga goes, the guy with the messy past wants to give up his life for his uke but this new seme comes along and steals them away.
What I hate so much is that Yoon didn’t try to communicate about his life and miseries with Woo. If only he chose to do that, even if it would put Woo danger, I believe they would have made it work no matter what as long as they loved each other. I’m horribly sad that Yoon ended up with his wife, even if his wife loved him, she did some really fked up shit.
I’m gonna go cry and dream about W oo and Yoon now. //sobbing

Woo and Yoon just look so friggin beautiful together, but Taeyul and Woo also look pretty good together NGL. So conflicted
This is one of those Yaoi manga where everyone is actually a huge dick in their own way, so much that you end up sort of hating everyone for doing this and that. All three of them have huge flaws that ended up destroying their lives since they were young. If they were all honest to begin with, none of them would have had to suffer for so long.
However, I understand where they are all coming from and appreciate them. It’s a love-hate relationship with this story, because it’s so frustrating but at the same so realistic. It touches on how fragile some relationships can come to be and break apart.
One huge critique is Chika marrying that woman. That was definitely the worst part of this story. It made absolutely no sense for someone like Chika who never wanted to be like his brother to end up having to be the only one who suffers in the end, just because he had no escape after losing Hotaka. If he had more time, he would have definitely ended up in a better place. The marriage was just so sudden and that woman took advantage of him when he was weakest. Good for that woman if Chika ends up loving her in the end but if he had the choice, he would’ve NEVER done that.
I just found this randomly after searching for mahjong manga to read after Akagi and hell o was not disappointed. Really love this! Too bad it’s very underrated outside of Japan. However, it’s definitely great to read!!
