Literally everyone who’s telling the FL to step up and stop the bullying since day one has never actually confronted one themselves. She is absolutely not a bystander—she’s simply not stupid enough to jump in with zero plans because when it comes to bullies, just telling them to stop will NEVER do anything. Even in the modern world, do you expect standing up by yourself alone with no power to actually do something? It won’t, you’ll just be throwing yourself into danger. And don’t say stuff like “oh it’s still not good to watch” because all you’re doing by stepping in with zero plans is NOT helping anyone, much less the person being bullied. In fact, doing that will make the bullies target the victim even MORE.

There's a way to handle cases like this and it involves meticulous planning and getting the authorities on your side first. You have to hammer it all in with proper evidence. It’s annoying, yes, but that is how the real world works. There’s a reason why bullying is rampant—it’s because all the higher ups want to brush things under the table. To force them out, you need to be careful with how you choose to expose them or else it’ll only INCREASE the amount of bullying everyone receives.

I’m a little confused why I’m feeling this way because the manhwa is a faithful adaptation to the novel but I just can’t really get into it? The novel was absolutely amazing and seriously one of the best I’ve ever read in Otome isekai genre, but the manhwa is so…..subpar? I don’t know if it’s because of the art too but the pacing for the novel doesn’t seem to work when we change the medium to a comic. It makes it dreary and boring when in the novel, everything was very thoughtful and well-written. Seems to me this manhwa suffers not because the story is bad but the way it’s being presented because I was so engaged in the novel I read all 170+ chapters in two days

It's likely the pacing. I personally enjoy a slow pacing, but I totally understand why so many find this one boring, I've definitely read stories with much better slow pacing.

There's only a few novels I've read some beginning chapters of (couldn't get further ahead due to my ADHD ass struggling to read long texts online) and then read the manhwa version, and I've definitely noticed how much they tend to cut away with the manwha. I can only assume this adaptation isn't cutting away much, which would explain the slow pacing. Certainly, things work differently depending on the medium and adaptations should be somewhat flexible while keeping true to the original version.

It def sucks bc I'm also really into the story and want more, but I know I'm unable to read the novel

So I saw this story getting really good reviews on the official website/here too and read up to chapter 10 so far and I’d really appreciate it if someone can tell me whether their relationship gets any better soon. Right now, I’m very frustrated at the FL because of how hypocritical she’s being and their whole misunderstanding to me just feels so cartoonish.

Neither of them talked to each other at all in their past life so it just seems to me like the whole miscommunication trope is a failure on both sides, which is why I’m getting incredibly annoyed at how the FL chooses to act in her second life because saying she doesn’t care is NOT the same thing as communicating her true feelings. It’s literally a repeat of their original life and I’m losing brain cells stressing over this story because the FL acts like she is now doing whatever she wants when in reality, she isn’t—she still hasn’t communicated with him about her issues at all.

I feel like their whole misunderstanding in the past life could’ve been fixed in 5 minutes the moment she CLEARLY says “I don’t like it when you’re never home and not spending time with your kids” because the ML is too dense and unavailable to notice if she doesn’t say something directly.

So I want to ask, how long does it take for them to get over all this stupid mess and finally TALK to one another?

I saw this manhwa on the official website and saw it had pretty low ratings and decided to take a peek to see why and I’m dying from laughter omfg—

I feel like I’m reading crack treated seriously and it’s such a breath of fresh air from all the smart conniving ML/FL dynamic. I like that this is so lighthearted and dumb. It’s exactly what I would expect a normal person who gets isekai-ed to do lol

This story is so fucked up it’s so good. The suspense and schemes and treachery. Crime thriller mystery with BL and dark horror romance? Count me in lol

Idk wtf is going on anymore but what I do know is that Shibe better stop calling that man his father. Seriously, at this point, he doesn’t deserve to be called a father.

I mean he’s not wrong but Callisto what the actual fk was that LOL

She’s such a bad bitch and downright scary. This is what a true villainess is like and I hate her so much as a human being but damn is she a fantastic character.

Honestly love this story because we all know Naru was a sketchy ass person since all the other volumes, so it wouldn’t be in-character for him to suddenly be capable of having some super green fluffy romance. I’m curious to see where this all leads since the story has been touching upon some very ugly, uncomfortable themes and truths, the so-called ‘forbidden romance’ genre. I’m a sucker for doomed relationships in fiction lol

Akira ending up with the girl is the shittiest and dumbest decision ever, not because of the whole straight or not straight debate, but because as a story, Akira has ZERO proper development with that girl. The entire manga is about him and his interactions with the other guys, so if he ends up with the girl, that means the author wasted all those chapters of character development with the guys when they could’ve used it to justify Akira’s ending with that girl. The reason why people can’t handle the girl is because she came out of NOWHERE, got zero development, and ended up with the main character like wtf as an author, you failed if none of your readers can understand why he chooses the girl. You need proper justification through lots of dialogue, interactions, and development for readers to accept whoever the endgame romance interest will be, not just shove it in everyone’s face TADA surprise at the VERY end.
