ok so before you guys go hating anyone,,, rather than hating the mcs, pls hate the adults, the environment and the society. people's comments and behaviour totally destroyed dohyun's mindset. he's extremely strong to go through all these. he's probs the most unfortunate character in this series. he was abused as a child, no one loved him, ppl he trusted left him. that's a very crucial age. just imagine how hard it was for him to go through all that before hating him.
and sungho too. for now, i won't forgive him for what he did to dohyun. kidnapping and raping can never be justified. BUT we still don't know anything about that BIG SCAR. it was never mentioned right??? doesn't it make you curious where he got that?? how he spent his pife after hs??? we still don't know anything about him. i know, still, NOTHING can justify rape but maybe he had even bigger trauma.
i am sure you guys checked the tragedy tag before reading so don't expect lovely characters. they both are so fucked up in the head. even tho their love was so pure in childhood, their circumstances totally ruined everything. they're both so flawed but i can't help but feel sorry for them. nothing can revive their relationship now. they both know they can't go back even tho they desperately want to. no matter how much they regret, how much they wish to rewrite time, they can't. it's too late now
also another thing, ppl who comment how can he forget blah blah.... you guys probs never went through that. ptsd can make you forget a big time and ppl in your life. esp for dohyun, sungho was the closest person. but after the incident, he was traumatised and tried to forget him no matter what. that's how it happened. if you ever talk with a similar victim you can ensure this types of amnesia exist, where ppl forget the ones who hurt them deeply.
and it's not Stockholm syndrom pls read about psychology more. dohyun wanted to go back to the past and do things right this time. after all this his mind snapped so even tho he said before that they can't go back, now he doesn't have any other way. he knows things won't last forever. maybe he knows that he doesn't have much time left. so for once, for the last time, gave up his thoughts and decided to do as his greedy mind said
