i really hate the CSA trope in BL and yaoi. like. why does every tragic backstory needs to have something so disguntingly abhorrent? i understand that some authors want to represent real life, and i get that it happens irl, but it's overused in BL. and it's kinda sickening... like why does queer media have to be always full of sexual trauma?
i guess it does explain some of cirrus' character, though. but still would i prefer it to not show us visually any of that, we don't need to see it.

Is it rly that common in BL??? This is only one our of maybe three times I've seen this be used as a trope. Perhaps you're mixing it in with the common r*pe trope. Maybe I just find softer[?] ones and you happen upon more disturbing and psychological stories but I feel like this is just way more common when there's a female MC rather than a Male(don't mean to say that in an invalidating way, just speaking from my observations) but yeah. I feel like for ppl who aren't that comfortable with the idea of it find the scenes more disturbing. Totally understand not wanting those scenes bc even I was having to rush past that for a second. Usually it's only referenced so the visualization threw me off too. I sort of wish queer media eased off that side too, there at least needs to be a balance if we can't get nice sweet stories.

the story went off the walls. so many new characters and most of them boring as hell or derail the main plot. like?? why is there children? the random priest vampire also? doesn't help that the translation is confusing. i think this would have worked better if it kept it like the early chapters, adding a bit of mystery. also, apparently this isn't even like an actual BL since there isn't any typical romance. absolutely and completely lost me tbh.
IT ENDED IN A CLIFFHANGER AND I CAN'T WAIT ANYMORE WTF!!!! THIS MANGA IS SO GOOD. LIKE SO FUCKING GOOD. A MASTERCLASS IN SEXUAL TENSION, OBSESSION, LOVE, PASSION, DANCE, LITERALLY SO GOOD. ALSO suzuki is a sex symbol at this point. he's probably one of the sexiest male characters i've ever seen.

this should have been their story from the begging. im mad cuz i like this manga so much even tho the prequel is kinda trashy. especially *THAT* part. i love how casual they are, i love the side characters, the smut is mostly good and sexy.... idk. im really conflicted.
