Probably because of several reasons.
It's a bit of a long explanation below heheh.
For example: they met each other when Yuri was still so young, barely considered as a teen and still in the threshold of being considered as a child while Lesta was already an adult.
That wouldn't have been much of a reason to not consider him as the ML as there are stories where thr age gap is the same if not for him basically bringing up Yuri and watching her grow up. That makes it weird for Yuri because she only ever sees him as a guardian/brother/close friend due to that. And that won't easily change in the future as she's got memories from her past life in the modern world. Hence, she wouldn't cross that line. Plus, it can be seen by others as borderline grooming which is problematic already on its own.
Another thing is that Yuri has hard feelings regarding Lesta's actions on having her dress as a man and abandoning her own identity as a woman for years and THEN falling for her just because he knows she's a woman and because she has talent.
So she probably has misgivings as to whether or not he truly loves her for her or he is merely confused because he wants to tie her down with him due to her talent and skills. Hence, due to how she knows Lesta's personality, she can't easily accept his affections plus, she sort of has resentments for him and would also be wondering on what if they got together, would he choose to let her keep her identity as a man or would he lt her reveal her identity as a woman?
The main point isn't that Lesta's not a character worthy of being an ML but that he isn't fit to be Yuri's ML. Although he is sweet and gentle now, it should be noted that their relationship wasn't born exactly out of trust but business. Yuri gave up her identity to work and have money so she can achieve her goal. On the other hand, Lesta asked Yuri to give up her identity if she wanted to work and make clothes for him so thst he could also make a profit.
Plus, she'd probably wonder if Lesta would have fallen for her at all had he not known she was a woman at all and merely had her talent and skills. Or if she was in her identity as a woman while she had her talents and skills.
This is the first time i have seen trauma from a male rape victim actually be addressed in these kinds of stories. I just think that’s a very important thing to do

I LOVE This. Especially the art since it seems so different. It looks like it has a bit of an american style mixed with the korean style. My one thing would be that the uke seems to be much younger than 21/20. Like, he looks 14. But besides that i really really like this

Honestly though, how does magnus have any costumers at all when selling copycat perfumes. People could easily trace both of them to ariel
considering that the first one was first used by the queen bee of social circles (charlotte), everyone immediately wanted to know more about it and who made it. The gentleman club had direct contact with ariel when she introduced her new perfume for men and so they would all know who made it.
Most of the social circle and gentleman club would realize that magnus stole ariel’s perfume, and what noble would buy from such a shameful person? normally they’re so prideful in themselves, it would make more sense if they wanted to distance themselves from magnus
They probably do know but they are buying from Magnus due to availability,Magnus buyers are probably people of upper middle class to middle high class that know they can't afford the exclusive perfume of the queen bee and gentlemen club
