i thought this would be like every other story w an "ugly betty" mc but it seems the authors going in a different direction which is nice. for once the solution isnt to just get a makeover but to actually overcome insecurities

i see where youre coming from but i dont think the authors intention is to blame the victims. to be frank, its highly unlikely that society will change its standards, so the least you can do is love yourself in spite of that. surely thats better than the common theme of hiding your true self to be accepted by society. its up to you whether you continue but i think its a nice story

im not sure how to feel abt this. the ending was v cute but tbh it bothered me how jonghyuk got zero repercussions for stalking taesu. if anything he was rewarded for it. it lowkey felt like the other stalker guy was only there to make jonghyuk look benign in comparison. like im not sure what the message is supposed to be here. if the author just wanted a cute happy couple then the stalking subplot was completely unnecessary
