Everyone's thinks the ML is sus but if you pay attention YES he's manipulating and using MC however that's very obvious even MC in a sense knows it. Both parties are using each other MC wants to end his friend's suffering and after that his own life {which he is unable to harm his own kind aka HE CAN'T off himself. Probably why he wants to use ML's neutralizing ability again (he negotiated for that perk in the hospital when ML wanted MC to "bring back" his dead father) His original plan was probably to ask ML to use his ability on him (MC) not sure if that will pop up or not after they finish the six dungeons and MC's friends are all dead. ML is using MC partly for the raids but I believe his largest reason at the start was to be able to "bring back" his father to prevent his sibling from taking over the company however since that plan crumbled his only reasoning left is the dungeons, is what you'd think but ML himself said that the rest of the dungeons the team can do alone. ML didn't ruin his plans years in the making for MC just because of dungeons which he admitted to not needing MC for!! ML loves our MC even if its something he himself isn't fully aware of. You can see moments of weakness from the ML, like in the library when MC is having a nightmare and crying. ML's face is utterly heartbroken because despite their repeated tries to help fix MC's broken mindset noting has worked and the person they love is still suffering. ML knows deep down that their attached to MC. Giving up their goal of 4+ years just to save MC's life which MC himself didn't even want to save. ML didn't care that his goal, his dream was shattered, he wasn't angry because of that he was upset that MC was apologizing.. He wanted, no.. ML desperately wants our MC to have a desire to live. To not ignore their own pain, to want to live.

I hope our MC gets that desire back, and I hope ML can show their feelings openly not just to MC but to themself as well. ML is also a broken person, both of them are. ML didn't receive much love, was abused, and even had multiple attempts on his life from childhood. And our MC lost their parents, lost all of their friends, and than proceeded to live with their friends walking corpses for year(s). Both MC and ML have issues, we just have to hope they can get over them and the other hurdles and end up happy together in the end.
;;! Anyways thanks for coming to my Mangagotalk !! This isn't even over yet and I've already found myself rereading it several times and finding ML's expressions and emotions quite nice to see, I beg you, if you still think ML doesn't love MC and is just manipulating him please reread this and truly look, hell even zoom jn on ML's expressions. What he doesn't always comnicate with words you can see in the worry, in the fear, the concern, and the heartbreak for MC.
