i said this in a reply but i’ll say it again for everyone and the people in the back: he’s trash. i’m actually tweaking over this dude bc people are forgetting that he’s basically assaulting her
his reasoning is subpar at best too, like yea i sympathize with the guy and i understand why because id feel shitty if i was forced into another world too but to protect the FL or not—this trope has always been the worst because it doesn’t erase the fact that he has been horrible and neglectful to her. it doesn’t change the fact that he hurt her. period. and honestly, they way he’s coming onto her in this life is so gross because he ignores her boundaries and wishes as if she’s having some tantrum and then downright assaulting her. the fact he doesn’t even understand or TRY to understand why the FL is upset with him says everything it needed to say. especially every time she says she wants nothing to do with him, he decides that the best idea is to COME ONTO HER EVEN STRONGER???
