Are you somehow looking for validation or something? You can hate Carcel. It doesn’t matter. I’m not sure what you want from readers. Your hate for Carcel doesn’t do anything but air your opinion. Nothing you say will change this story. Ines doesn’t agree with you. Ines don’t care about your opinion. Ines would literally die for Carcel. So, hate him all you want, you’re not Ines genuine fan because you hate what she loves. Just face it and accept it.

The fact that you can’t see that FL is just as wrong as ML says a lot. Author always comes out to point out these two things. That’s why she and Ines both know that Carcel is initially a better person than Ines. She changes because of him. Not the other way around. Some people look at the external and others look at what’s in a person’s heart that’s manifested in their sincere actions. You don’t even know Ines. If you knew Ines, you would realize she’s the kind of person who knows she has a bad personality and isn’t exactly a good person and isn’t ashamed of it. Ines herself says she doesn’t deserve Carcel and the story shows why she thinks like that. Anyway, like I said, I’m already done responding to this.

Your heart isn't even aching for Ines. It's aching for yourself bc you can't selfinsert as her. Ines wasn't even hurt by Carcel. He's the only man she's ever with who nvr hurted her. Both other men gave her trauma when being with them. He's the only one who didn't and the only one who can make her happy so you're not aching for Ines when even in this ch she's saying how she feels safe with him.

Author gave that title bc the ring means their marriage and fate and broken means that it was broken bc Ines kept living many lives with other ppl. No one even forcing their ideals on you. Just explaining that you do hate the story and you're just hate reading bc you don't even rly like Ines. If you rly like her why are you even aching for someone who wasn't hurt by it and even now feeling safe and happy with said person you hate and think she's hurt by??????

Ines the rl lucky one here bc Carcel is always the one fixing her problems and she got tons of problems. She the one who made a wish that screw them both over. She the one with the 2 men in the past trying to make problems in this life too. She the one who got all the secrets and baggage. Anyone who is rly with her wouldn't even want to or know how to deal with all that. Even when the painter was with her, he didn't know how to help her bc he didn't know how nobles live and only watch her have seizures and her talk about her trauma with the prince. In this life she gets seizures from the painter and Carcel is the one who has to take care of that. She keep all these secret from him but he's still taking care of her while knowing she's keeping secrets from him. She's lucky he can deal with all her trouble and know how to deal with her. She literally invited a crazy woman to their home trying to get Carcel to sleep with said person and you think he's lucky? Don't forget she's the one who forced him into this engagement and marriage since they were 6. Guess he's so lucky to be forced into a marriage he didn't want when she kept pushing him away and didn't even try to be a good fiance herself so why are ppl expecting him to be a good fiance when he beenv the only one trying for 9 years. He's so lucky that even the prince was trying to kill him as a kid. Must be so lucky to be stabbed bc he was forced into an engagement he didn't want.

Man, why are you so press ? The story is not even that good. You're overreaching like it's some holy sh&t. She just says one thing and people keep expanding it. If some people felt this way, it's valid. If the Author felt the need to explain that means there really is room for explanation.

I'm not worshipping this story, the art is not even that good, they all look the same and same body build. The characters are flawed and I don't like how there's small room for heavy ploys which I like for most stories.

The tension is great and okay the pace is good. But man, do ya think it's worth writing an essay about this? You're projecting and put your pant*es on, because you're clearly all over Carcel. I don't like the story, it's just so-so. When I read the first comment I just laugh because I love playboy ML but I certainly don't like depress charaters and make it their personality. They’re using engagement as the basis to say he cheated. Nevermind he didn’t have an actual romantic relationship with Ines. Of course no one ever talks about the fact that Ines was engaged in the previous timeline and slept with a complete stranger. To be frank, she dubcon him. But since he was enthralled by her beauty, it was okay. If a guy in a manhwa did the same to a virgin girl, they would call him a rapist. That’s probably why the manhwa made it vague.

Objectively speaking, since all it takes to be accused of cheating is not an actual relationship but engagement, Ines cheated as well. Her engagement was never broken either. So readers should make up their minds, is it cheating only because of engagement or is it cheating because of a romantic relationship? Ironically, both apply to Ines when she ‘cheated’. Carcel only had the engagement factor. He was not in a romantic relationship with Ines as made abundantly clear by Ines herself who didn’t care about him nor was she interested in a relationship with him. In fact, she spends a good part of their early marriage attempting to get him to cheat.

inez was raped, given std, saw the man he loved killed right in front of her, had multiple miscarriages, had her child taken away from her, was deliberately abused and is made to carry all the trauma she experienced on both her first and second life while being sick and you think she's the lucky one just because some guy which y'all think is hot got the hots for her? y'all are fucking crazy to even come to that conclusion. carcel taking care of her is the bare fucking minimum given how he himself admitted that he was obsessed with her that he would stalk their manor just to get a glimpse of her. and because inez was literally dying due to her past experiences and she couldn't get out of her room, the guy decided to fuck a random girl due to his frustration with regards to inez not reciprocating his feelings. carcel started sleeping around WAAAAY before inez instigated it and y'all are fr dumb if y'all didn't catch that. he started being a debauched individual due to his immaturity, which at one moment inez wanted to take advantage of because her initial plan didn't involve settling down with anyone after all the shit she went through. if anything carcel is the lucky one because he finally got the woman he always liked even when he was sleeping around like a sex crazed maniac

Ines went through all that just bc she made some wish for Carcel to not be with her so she ended up choosing other men who couldn't make her happy. Carcel's wish for her to choose him again if she can't be happy with other men saved her bc she was able to choose him again and he's the only one who can make her happy. Oscar knew Carcel loved Ines but Oscar hated Carcel. Oscar also remembers the 1st life so he knew Carcel and Ines were supposed to be husband and wife so he raped Ines to hurt Carcel. Why shouldn't I love the ML who literally suffered for the one he loved, helped the painter escape bc he loved Ines and hid his own feelings from her bc he didn't want his feelings to get in the way of her being happy with other men. When she married Oscar, he hid his feelings bc he knew Ines loved Oscar. When Oscar was hurting Ines, he also let Oscar hurt him so that Oscar won't hurt Ines more. When Ines married the painter, he also hid his feelings bc he wanted her to be happy. He even helped the painter escape. Every lifetime, he was loving her well. This showed that he wasn't initially a 'rag' which could be a derogatory term for 'slut' in Korean. But when you're a teenager and the girl you love isn't even paying attention to you, you might as well act as one since he already thought of himself as one naturally, but the only reason he even thought he was one naturally before he became one was because of Ines. If you ever read Ines' thoughts, the one from the raws novel, not the official translation, Ines always go on and on about how she thinks he's naturally a rag anyway so it's fine to keep expecting that and telling him that. Was he naturally one? No. She just unintentionally ended up brainwashing him to think he was one and he acted upon it in a rebellious mode as a teenager.

More on Carcel's sleeping around. He slept with 10-20 women in current lifetime, never more than once with any of them. There were also things that were already established from the novel such as how he didn't sleep with women who were married or were virgins. He also didn't sleep with women who were not nobles or around his status. There weren't much women of his status around where he works and he doesn't like social events so he didn't go out of his way to do that to meet women. It was just easier in Mendoza. As for what was the reason why he slept around, it was a multitude of reasons. Author-nim said it was also a defense mechanism triggered from past lifetime as the past does seeped into the current lifetime. She also mentioned it was thanks to him sleeping around that Oscar wasn't as active in trying to break their engagement. (This is true as the moment Oscar heard of rumors that Carcel is crazy for his wife, he rushed to send assassins again.) His sleeping around also lowered Ines' guard because she had this preconceived notion of him. There's also factors of how actions are not only subjected from the past seeping to the present but also outside current events factor into it. Author-nim gave an example of how Olga is different because of Ines, so I believe it's to say Carcel acts different based on the same factor, Ines.

As for things about Carcel in different lifetimes, author-nim said Carcel in the 1st lifetime had the darkest personality because of Ines pushing him away all the time. Carcel in the 4th lifetime grew up the least affected from suffering compared to 1st lifetime but he did found Ines scary for forcing him into an unwanted marriage. As for Ines, she grew up knowing her single love and even held onto wanting to die together in the 1st lifetime but in the 4th lifetime, her rejection towards him was the complete opposite of herself in 1st lifetime because of her defense mechanism triggered from previous lifetimes. The thing is that her heart started to love him before she can admit to it, so she was childishly acting against it and it eventually led her to realize she made a mistake. By then, she gave up even denying it.
