Cain wins because he has a supernatural role.
Yawhi wins because he has a dark past.
Either Jooin "cures" Yawhi (which is unrealistic) or Yawhi is basically going down a darker path. According to the raws he already told cain that he doesn't need to put his guard up for Jooin, because I guess he was going to set him free. BUT cain hurts his pride and in turn Yawhi makes "a move" on Jooin in front of him. Next thing you know both guys are death-glaring over the thought of one another, so maybe we should stan Cain x Yawhi-
Jk
....
What if Cain is the main lead? And no I don't mean endgame (even though that is kind of what I mean), but I've read some stories where the "main lead" doesn't show up until later on when the plot needs them. The only reason I think it makes sense is because he has a background that we have yet to discover, a.k.a. a past life/reincarnation. The thing is, if the plot never gives more details about it, I feel like there's no hope left for the guy.
In other news, Jooin doesn't like smoking nor the smell of it, so I honestly don't know how they will work it out unless Yawhi decides to stop "in the name of love"
Like yes smoking is bad for one's health, but it's up to him to stop or not if he really wants to, neither should sacrifice something to please one another especially by force. But it's fiction (let alone BL) so I doubt it'll be addressed.

Are they (the creators) really giving us the implication that Cain is going through a dark phase? He's been making those expressions quite often, but he just assured Jooin that he would stop meddling with any Yawhi issues that he has.
Whatever the actions he will take are, that's such an unfair way to give Yawhi an upper hand as a favorable candidate Cain going against Jooin's wishes in itself well be just as bad as Yawhi not comforting Jooin when he needed it. (The r*pe is already an irreversible mistake in my mind but some of you don't take it as a valid enough reason to leave him in the dust)
I was hoping that the plot twist would be that Yangi would end up being the toxic obstacle, but that would not only still be an unfair advantage, it would also imply that Cain and Jooin are endgame... and we all know that's not happening.
The fact that Cain was about to reveal what he was hiding only for Jooin to change the subject.
That in itself feels like his secret really isn't that bad. But we were so close, darn it Jooin!
