Okay first of all the communication isn't communicating, I understand that Gyujin was frustrated as he is quite busy and he did do all he can but the way he answered wasn't quite right(that's why the ML kinda misunderstood), same goes for the ML(forgot his name) I mean it is upsetting but i wouldn't leave my wife/husband like that especially knowing how busy he was to even prepare something AND HOW DID HE NOT SEE THE STEAKS AND BALLOONS!!(Fuming mad rn)
I think both characters lack of communication, I also think it is also the parents fault as why this happened because, if they aren't forced to get married I would think they can get to know one another more but that was not the case,,,
