I love how this series makes you, little by little, sympathize with Anita. Not in a way that what she's doing is right, but by emphasizing the hatred of betrayal she felt after her significant other left her all alone. Like, theres no way this story makes us hate Anita after all she suffered as a mage, what they "nowadays" call witches. Is by human nature to be afraid of what we cant control, but by any means she had the intention of betraying the man she loved.. if I were Anita, i would've done the same, honestly. To go such lengths as to risking your own life to get revenger on the one that that destroyed your life. However, she's taking revenge not on the man that betrayed her, but his descendants. Which is also quite interesting, and it makes sense as to why, since she was the one that gave his family all the fortune. I just cant bring myself to hate her. She's such a well built character, her motives, desires and hatred and even actions make so much sense regarding her past. I haven't read the novel, but I am planning on doing so; thus, what i've been hoping is for an ending where Anitas hatred is recognized, understood in a way that would lighten just a little bit the weight on her shoulders. Im not sure if this is even possible, since theres also the rage that came from the murder of all of her sisters. PS: if you read all of this, its just my opinion :> i love the MC even more than i love Anita, and i want her to finally rest after giving her all to protect her brother and put up with her stupid father, whom i still hate (〜￣△￣)〜 Well, the main topic of this text was to express how I'm delighted about this whole story. Not only the world building is amazing, but the MC, side characters, family, ML, etc, ALL have their role in the story. ARGHH I LOVE THIS MANHWA SO MUCCCHHHAJHAWUENDWEF AAAAAAヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~

Seriously I feel so bad for Anita, that first emperor should have suffered tbh, like it makes me more angry that he must have had to marry to make a heir and all. Looking at the expression of duke sylvien(Idk that dark blue hair family) it kinda gave the vibe maybe just maybe what if that first emperor soul is there.
I can understand that witch's power was actually dangerous, it could turn out they were actually evil but Anita didn't knew but it's just a guess and ANITA WAS INNOCENNT IN THIS ALL AGH IT HURTS, if we saw this from her point of view from the start, we probably would have cheered for her(If the descendents were evil)
HOLY!!! I've been craving for some angst these past months... I'm looking forward into understanding the ML's mind, because he is sooooo hypocritical. It's like he expects to be treated right after treating FL so bad, yk? How can he believe she would be that sunflower girl after going through so much? Hopefully reality hits him!!
I find it interesting how he apparently has two sides: one side of him is in love with her since he met her as a child, and the other hates her due to her royal lineage, which is connected to the reason why he suffered so much in the past. These two feelings are too strong, and they keep on consuming him, until he says to her after she attempted: "I don't know what to do". His mind is a mess due to his feelings of love and hatred for her.
Of course, its not an excuse to treat her like shit, just an explanation. He is in denial for his love, and he is clinging desperately to his hatred because is the only sense of consistency he has after all these years of revolution. Insane, right?
She deserves better than him, honestly. If he doesn't get better, it's best for her to stand on her ground and defend herself. FL deserves everything. I cried while reading this but not out of pity, more out of desperation. Because the angst is insane!!!!
