I saw it too and I just can't believe it ended that way. They were finally able to find happiness too and that type of ending just had to happen ╥﹏╥
OMG yes that part just had me on the verge of tears because he looked like everything was going to be fine and that they were going to reunite in the future but doesn't know that Ash is dying like you said. I just wish we could have seen how Eji would have reacted to finding out that Ash died because they meant sooo much to each other and they won't be able meet every again now.
I also wished Ash would have tried to go to the hospital or seek help so that there was at least a possibility for him to be saved. Instead of just practically choosing to die instead of fighting on.
Oh man I'm sooo sorry I thought you knew that he died. I found out from reading the manga and sadly he died. I thought the same thing you did that there could be a possibly the he ended up surviving but once I found out that the manga was on here I read it and found out that he really did end up dying from that stab wound that's why I was sooo upset with the ending and how things turned out because they didn't even get to be happy together after accomplishing all the ordeals they went through. Yeah I can understand why your mad at Eji but I guess he left because he trusted and had belief that Ash would make it back to him. I don't think he would have ever thought that Ash would have died from this after just finishing the long battle. But I do agree that he should have stayed there just to make sure that Ash comes out of this alive instead of just leaving. I'm sooo sorry again to give you this unfortunate news┗( T﹏T )┛
Yes I agree. I just didn't think it was right to kill him when they were finally done with all there pain and suffering. It's been a couple of months since I've watched the anime but my heart still aches and feels for these characters and the people that died in this manga.
This was very well written story and had a great plot. This anime/manga would probably have to be my all time favorite and I don't think any other manga or anime could beat this one it was just so real and ties you in with the characters sooo deeply that it makes you think that someone you cared about just died, like you said it feels real. This was just an amazing story and the only complaint I would have is that Ash should have lived and that would be it everything else was really well done.
Did you read the Garden of Light? It would probably make you feel even sadder..
It's a side story of BF, and shows what happened seven years after the ending. Totally heart-breaking. No kiddin', i was crying buckets while reading it. Still, it's a shame it wasn't animated. I don't know whether they will ever
