The manga is done (at 150 chapters), but the last two years have been radio silence on this one. Last I heard, Shoujo Sense was scanlating (this was back in 2015), but the group pretty much died off. Anybody know of manga scanlating groups (preferably those that already do sports manga) that might be interested in finishing the last half of this series?
Help me find! Based on a novel I think. The female mc comes from a proper Japanese household, but is mistreated while her sister (half sister?) gets all the favor. The family arrange for her sister to marry her childhood friend, one of the few people who has ever treated the mc well, while the mc is engaged to someone known for having a bad temper. Her fiance ignores her and expects her to break off the engagement, but she dutifully accepts her role essentially as a housekeeper. The story follows their relationship getting closer.
There's a scene where she's bowing to him for a looong time without him acknowledging her, and a scene where she cooks him breakfast and he doesn't eat it.
Japanese yaoi - there was a high schooler that hung around older (maybe university) guys, always going to someone's apartment to play cards and drink. After one meetup he comes back to return an umbrella and sees two of the uni friends having sex through the window. I don't remember much about the story outside of this scene. I think the student develops a crush on the uke uni student.
That shit hurted. I've come back to this duology so many times over the years. Each time I feel like I understand it a little bit more. But Tamaki telling Kyouichi that she likes his left side too makes me wanna fucking cry. Breaking up with someone you love is so so heartbreaking, and the emotional storytelling in this scene captures that guilt and sadness so well.
