He was referencing earlier in the story, where I believe he made a reference about how sometimes the past should stay buried, because what if when you dug it up it was like a rotten old dog treat, a big ol disappointment. Maybe at the beginning I did, but I stopped the moment this turned into a horribly toxic relationship. If they do get back together I want to see character development. DG is someone who has no self respect and let's people walk all over him. Doesn't matter if you're in love or not, you need to love yourself first. I love Dg but he needs to change. ALEX on the other hand is a shit head who is clearly an asshole. I respect him for making their relationship clear but he needs to change too. I clearly don't ship them atm but I hope that can change
