To compare the chapter one and you'll see the difference. The art style is good but in the old one I can feel and appreciate the MC's craziness. While in the new one it feels awkward.

That man is suspicious. Its possible that he fell in love with the pink hair girl and trying to make her the empress to protect her. It's very suspicious.
Or maybe he's trying to overthrow the emperor and appoint pink haired girl as empress cuz she hates the empire and they have mutual goals? (I believe he did say his empire was ruined cuz of the emperor)
