idk why, but i think the reason why gestella wants to kill kayden is because he refused to accept her offer to marry her ;-;
cus like, WHY WOULD SHE ASK ABOUT KAYDEN'S OPINIONN!?? and also, kayden said that they didn't fight properly, so that probably means that when they fought and gestella saw his immense strength, she asked him to marry her, but he refused and just went home because he thought that they'd just fight, but instead, gestella offered marriage
