This is one of the series that I really really like, set aside the fact that the translation from the ones uploading early is making it confusing (which is why I assume a lot of us are re-reading once a better/official chap has been uploaded even if it's 4-5 chapters behind the latest).
Our baby FL is not the typical reincarnation troupe, she is determined to reach her goal and doesn't let anyone break down that wall that she has meticulously built up ever since she got reincarnated. Unlike most reincarnation story I have read, this has a more realistic pace. Despite having a kind family that is willing to pamper her to death, she as far as the recent chapters (Chap 75) has not let go of that revenge. It does break my heart, but her personality is so refreshing. She knows where she stands and she knows the line she musn't cross so she doesn't get hurt. She accepted the fact that it may look like the family has accepted her, she is still outside the circle.
The scene where she felt left out from the family bonding during that tea time really stood out to me, and the heart breaking part where she willingly walked out of the scene which gave her that splash of cold water that she cannot forget where she stands. And the sad scene where she was asked why she never ask for help nor why she never looks back:
That consistent personality that she learned deeply from her mistake and from her past. It's like a child that got burned accidentally by touching a hot kettle out of curiosity, and as a normal response for a child, they would keep that lesson in mind not to touch it again to avoid getting hurt. But she takes it to a whole level, she stays away from it as much as she can, and when situation does call that she needs to be exposed of it, she makes clear boundaries and she lets them know what her line is.
Hope it doesnt suddenly turn out rushed by the upciming chapters!!
Honestly, this is becoming dry. Her character development was doing well on the first few chapters, now it's going downhill. I just can't understand why she is so adamant with her treatment with Claude. This "hard-to-get" behavior is honestly getting on my nerves. Although he's NOT supposed to be forcing her with that "she's mine" behavior, she's clearly still not consistent with her relationship with Claude even after confessing.
Been reading this on and off so I'm a bit lost with their rel but, did they uhhh spend the night together? I remember seeing the scene from the first chapter on the latest few bits.
They did~ it was so hot. But honestly id be more confused if she get together claude rn. Esp when her top priority aint being official with him but her mom, their future, their safety. And claude isnt even taking consideration of her concerns but just wants her to be his officially, even love bombing her. Shes consistent, there's that, she didnt say yes right off the bat, now that is a critical time. Tho shes getting slow at resolving her problems and quite inconsistent with her plans

I loved this story, but honestly at this point, it kinda seems to be getting dragged on, the Uke is becoming more of a trash at the recent chapters and I ain't likin it no more.
Sure, Seme has his own complicated feelings he seems to be confused of and doesn't know how to express himself but he is 'trying' to redeem himself for Uke.
I love that Uke has convinced himself not to get involve with the Seme romantically anymore and just stick to physical rel, but he seems to be confused as well (⌒▽⌒) Same things been happening on recent chapters, uke became cold, seme chases after him and goes by being there for him, they're not freakin resolving the issue and just use sex as an excuse lol.
I still wanna see how this ends but obv, we all know Uke will prolly give up on his stubborness and live happily ever after with seme. The angst is just so bland atm.
I also get the feeling someone will enter the picture that is related to Seme, will send uke all confused with his feelings again~

Uke severely suffered abuse from childhood (from what he has been narrating that his father abused him as a child), this in turn, had psychological effects on him. If an abuse has been going on for a very long time, especially at the early stages of an individual's life, it is not easy to recover from it, and this has been clearly portrayed in the Uke's narrative. Haeyoung became his lighthouse as he was the only one he was able to go to and reach out to whenever he experiences abuses from his own father.
The beatings he unfortunately experienced somehow gave him this mentality that it's okay to go through such physical hurtings, Haeyoung obviously did the same physical abuse around the time his own father was also subjecting him to. The only difference that Uke seems to have distinguished between Haeyoung and his father is that, unlike his father, Haeyoung showed him bits of kindness that his own family failed to give.
I see a lot of people commenting that they don't feel bad for the uke, that despite him knowing himself he is subjected to abuse he refuse to leave. It is never easy to overcome trauma and abuse, Haeyoung became an important part of his childhood trauma, and this makes it very difficult for him to let go. He seemed to have highlighted in the manhwa that he's much better off going through the beatings than live a life without Haeyoung because that comfort would cause severe mental effects on him.
I am very much interested to see how this would pull through, but basing from spoilers from the novel that others has been sharing— I will need my snacks and tissues since shits not gonna be a smooth ride.

I have this trauma but not with my family but my ex. I thought beatings and getting hurt is normal since he will comfort me after. I was really really used it that I even believe leaving is much worst. We need help to those people around us, it took 2 years before I get out of the abuse. I even gave the person money just to get praise from him. Know that it you might think your not helping when you voice it out to us.... Your wrong, you just need to tell us what to do and slap to our face that there is more to it out there. This manga triggered me the reason I dont read all of the text and scrolling real fast just to finish one chapter.

Its okay, I am just also trying to expose myself to this kind of emotions now. To be honest its still hard for me this days because I get suspicious and panic attack when someone trying to cross boundaries I set for them. It just sucks, really. I find it more comfy when I can control what is coming for me but get scare when I get attach to someone and have them predict what my feelings are. I really love this series, I do. But with the slow update, it ruins the mood, not that I'm complaining since I can always wait~ but I also noticed that the drama is just too much, one after the other and it sort of feels like it's there to drag on the story unnecessarily longer than it needs to be.
