well the age difference is actually not that big, Estelle is like 11-12 i think (now 16) in the beginning and Emiel is 18(now 22) so its only 6-7 years. it just seems weird cause as she was mistreated and abused by her mother she was very small and looks younger then she is. plus dont forget Estelle has the memories of a 20-something year old from her "past life" so she wont get together with someone her age or younger she will probobly be with someone older

6-7 years? And that’s Normal for u??? Even if she still has the memories if a 20 years old, she‘s still way younger than him, she just kept the memories but her age and Body are younger that that. Emel is a grown up, they can’t be together or i hope they won‘t. Hopefully maybe someone 2 or 3 years older will come but not 7 years! This ain‘t it. This is just so wrong.

The fuck?? Ofc 6 year difference in a relationship is normal. A bunch of real married couples have that age gap. Yeah the whole 16 and 22 thing might be early but

1) they're not even in a relationship yet, they just care for each other on a platonic level right now so what's the problem? By the time they have a real relationship she'll probably be a full-fledged adult.
2) if she's mentally older then why does it matter if her body looks younger? This is literally a fantasy story and romance is at its core a mental connection with a partner
3) if you still think 6 years is too much, just tack on some more years and it'll be 20 and 26, 32 and 38, 44 and 50, 56 and 62, 68 and 74, 70 and 76, do you SEE HOW 6 YEARS IS NORMAL AND ACCEPTABLE EVEN IN THE MODERN DAY
4) if you still think 16 is early (which is fair to think, I agree to an extent), once again this is a fantasy story set in an older era, where marrying younger is normal. Literally just go back 100-200 years ago in your own history and see when people married (and she ain't even marrying at 16, like she ain't even in the relationship or interested in the relationship yet at 16)
5) there is literally no relationship yet and we don't know how old she'll be by then
6) grooming isn't an issue either because he didn't raise her or have the intention to pursue a romantic relationship with her.

TBH I don't like him that much either and I don't want her to end up with Emel, but even if she does, their age difference will be negligible in the future by the time they get together

Don‘t get me wrong i like Emel but this is just not right. Idk about y‘all but the age gap plays a whole part for me.

Yoo i just stated my opinion, no need to be that mad at this. I just think that the age gap is way too much for me, i like the whole Story and so on but if they are rlly gonna end up together, i‘m rlly going. There is no chance for me to continue on this. Even if it’s fantasy, it still isn’t right, for me atleast. Ik that the age gap wasn’t a big deal back then, but for me more than 5 years of age gap is way to much. I can’t and won’t like this, that’s why i‘m gonna stop reading this. I like every character, the story and so on but nope, i just feel uncomfortable that’s why. well yes it IS normal for me. my parents have a age difference of 10 years and im 7 years younger then my fiance. its not weird at all but i understand that its just your opinion but for me its weird to think that. if you look at irl couples its not unusual to have between a 5-10 year gap. and as long as your of legal age, age is just a number, so why be so hanged up over it?

plus they are not together yet, probably wont be ether for a few more years, maybe when shes like 18, which makes her an adult. like 18 and 24 is not bad, they are both adults then.

My parents have an age gap of 3 years, i will stay at my opinions that mire than 5 years is not right. I just can’t get well with it. 18 and 24 IS a big Problem for me, so i hope it won’t happen but it sadly will...

while im not against you having that opinion saying that its "not right" is very rude. just say that YOU will never be in a relationship with that kind of gap, but just because of that it dose not make it "wrong" while your welcome to have your opinion dont make it sound like something like pedophilia, cause thats "not right". as long as they are adults its just love, why put a number on it?

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing. Maybe it just hit him that he cant just send someone that is defenseless to a place that can possibly be dangerous? like he felt guilty for lying to his best friend and is seeing him hurt. I dont really know but these are some factors i feel.

I think he feels pitty for him. Even though he hates him for all that’s happened between him and dojin, seeing him like that, completely at the mercy of the first person he can reach, even for me, can be really frustrating. Maybe he feels guilty even? He’s hurting the person he wants to help, the person he “hates”, hell even himself. This stresses me out
