I think you guys forgot the chapters where the ML lied to MC and never showed up at his place and acted super sus. MC has all the right to suspect ML. ML didn't even apologize for not showing up or clearing things up. He has the emotional intelligence of white bread.

The story would have been done after 10 chapters if the ML didn't act like a manipulative bastard and just confessed clearly. *huff* but at least they have a happy ending and we got smut, so win-win.
