I think you guys forgot the chapters where the ML lied to MC and never showed up at his place and acted super sus. MC has all the right to suspect ML. ML didn't even apologize for not showing up or clearing things up. He has the emotional intelligence of white bread.

I don't know why everyone here sees the ML as a whole green flag. They obviously knew each other before work, he trapped MC with a contract and manipulates him.
He pampers and takes care of MC, but he also manipulates and lies to him.

I agree with you, I don't think he's a green flag too, although because of the usual red flag trope we all know I still would give this director a yellow flag instead haha, more evidence is needed.
Yeah, I can agree on yellow. But him changing MC's calender to push him into a corner is a no-go. He will probably manipulate MC into do more mistakes and after the three warnings in the contract, make him unable to leave, or something like that.
