i love short cake cake, but these recent chapters stressed me out. early on, we were at least able to (pretend) that chiaki wasn't particularly interested in ten and that he'd remain supportive towards riku and his efforts, but now that we're able to assume that both chiaki and riku value ten and are seemingly possessive over her, i'm afraid that riku and chiaki's friendship may deteriorate. chiaki brought it on himself, but his reaction after ten played along and claimed that she was in "love" with him also.. hurt.... me.... not to forget how dejected chiaki looks whenever ten solely mentions riku. on top of that, chiaki feels guilty about getting in the way between ten and riku because he specifically told riku he'd help him, and i can't agree with morishita suu torturing readers with so many panels of conflicted chiaki, but i'm really, REALLY hoping that their friendship won't be ruined because of their feelings for ten.
