This is the most horrible and horrific story I've ever read. I did not enjoy it at all. I only kept reading because I was hoping something good would happen, but nope. I felt there was no real character development and the things Kyoung Soo had to endure, and ending up with Stockholm Syndrome. No, this story is not for me. And don't get me wrong, it's not that I don't appreciate the art or work that has been but in to this. I just don't like the story.
I felt the exact same. It made me sick. I thought it was going somewhere but it was just rape after rape.

Wow... It only took 270+ chapters for them to confess... I'm thinking of dropping this. It just keeps going around in circles. I started reading this 10 years agoand it took this long for something to finally happen. I'm gonna be an old woman before this finishes.
Well Kyoko's a minor, for one, and the mangaka wanted to give it the flow of real life, not the quick-developing, 5-chapter Mangas we get normally. The mangaka is adamant about it being a day in the life manga. It wasn't originally meant to have romance as the main focus. Comedy and slice of life was. Romance just became the major intrigue to readers. I've been following this for 15 years and it is painstaking sometimes, but I always look forward to the new chapters. I want ren and Kyoko to get together, for Kyoko to exact her revenge (in a not so harmful way) on Ryo and I want everyone to go on their merry way, but at the same time I know that once that all happens, it's over. And I don't want it to end either! Lol. Kind of a pickle we got ourselves in, huh?
I completely agree with you. I liked reading this very much. And I don't mind if it tales longer, before they confess etc. But 10 years (since I started reading) is a bit much for me
I get it, I do. Its a long time coming for some progress. I mean 2 years of Kyoko's life has been 10+ for us. Lol.
