I'm really into this art and story, but the inclusion of the g*****s is putting me off. The Roma are a really, historic group of people. G***y is a slur. And the traits they listed in this chapter are racist stereotypes of the Romani people that have existed for decades. I REALLY hope the author doesn't end up making them a villain of some sort, relying on those tropes. Yikes. :(

taking this straight from a university's article: “Roma” is the word that the Roma use to describe themselves: it is the term for the members of that specific people and it is Romani for “man”. “Gypsy” is a derogatory, disparaging term – for many an insult — used by the majority population to define the Roma people.

Considering they lived on the road and were not bound to land was why they were called gypsy. The word itself was not offensive. It simply meant free spirited people who loved to move which was what Romani people did. It was the civilized society who constantly blamed them for stealing and other criminal offenses was what gave the word gypsy bad name. People need to learn history.
wow, I loved this!
